“The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is a fantastic place to stay in Crested Butte. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the mountain. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the beds were super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. “We stayed in the castle suite which is in a separate house up the mountain. A beautiful home has been turned into several suites.In the common areas there are two dens, a full kitchen, a wet bar area, gym, and sauna. Numerous rooms have private hot tubs. We enjoyed beautiful views from every window in the Castle Suite. The room was huge and the bathroom was too. The only issues were the stairs up and down to the front door from the road. “This hotel is far past its prime, but still a nice and convenient place to stay in Mt. Crested Butte. There was a loud air duct in the bathroom that couldn't be turned off and only one window that opened, but otherwise was comfortable. I wish that the breakfast (which is very expensive) had more gluten free options--there was almost nothing I could eat. ”

“Dishes were put away dirty. Kitchen dirty. No on-site restaurant. Good WI-FI. Front check in staff very professional-they did assign a wrong room. Understaffed.”

“The condo was very clean and comfortable. There was no humidifier and the light over the sink was out, but after calling the front desk they brought us a humidifier and fixed the light. The light over the stove top only worked on low. Everything else was fine and we enjoyed our stay. ”

“The unit was very dated. It is also odd that you walk into the bedroom, having to go through it to the sitting area/kitchenette. Our room adjoins another room, and we heard their TV and chatting until they went to sleep. That was annoying. The location and staff were phenomenal ”
