Beautiful Waterfront 3 Bed/2 bath Hideaway. GREAT FLAT YARD!

Enjoy a lake experience at our hideaway retreat on Lake Catherine. If you aren't paddling around on one of our 5 kayaks, paddleboard, or canoe, enjoy fishing, swimming, skiing, and boating in the spring, summer, and fall (**Lake Catherine is drawn down from mid-November to Mid-March so kayaks, paddleboard, and canoe are put away as well**). During the winter your entire family will enjoy sitting around the large rock fire pit making Smores while the kids enjoy playing on the sandy beach since the lake is drawn down for the winter. There is also horseracing, gambling, dining, and walks along Bathhouse Row in the Hot Springs Historic District within 12 miles of the property.
The large outside deck is 60 feet from the lake with 210 feet of lakefront access and a beautiful level carpet grass lawn.
The home on this gated 2-acre property sits off the road and is surrounded on both sides by thick rows of trees that offer plenty of privacy.
The extra large deck has a table/chairs and a gas grill. smoker (propane supplied) and plenty of room for your entire group.
Enjoy the evenings making smores or just relaxing around the large rock firepit with 9 Adirondack chairs and plenty of firewood (supplied).
The covered boat dock is available to house your boat or jet skis and the separate swim dock area is shallow enough for children to play safely.
This property offers everything you need for your family and friends to create lifelong memories while enjoying a fun and relaxing lake vacation.

The home was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the property very pet friendly. But what we really loved about it was the back deck and the firepit. Because every evening was pretty chilly, after a full day of hiking and exploring the countryside we relaxed by the firepit with a glass of wine. David, the owner, provided plenty of firewood and firestarters, Thank you David!! We brought our little dog with us and he loved being able to run around the yard chasing his ball.

Hoff’s Hideaway is a beautiful lake home with cute themed decor and well stocked with all essentials for a perfect family getaway. There is a gas station and Dollar General just a mile from the rental. Mr.Hoff’s family made our stay extra special with the s'mores station which was a surprise. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful away from the buzz of the city and you are sure to get a relaxed stay. It is apparent that the hosts wanted to ensure a great holiday experience for any family visiting since they had gone above and beyond with amenities like kayaks, paddle board, life vests, firewood, starter kits, kids books and toys in the kids room. My daughter learned to kayak by herself and she truly enjoyed it. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. We made lovely memories to treasure and we are sure to be back soon with our extended family.

The place was so beautiful! I loved that it felt so secluded with the natural border fence and the private gate at the driveway. The house had everything I needed and the host, David, was great! My family had a wonderful time and would love to go back!

I have never had such hospitable and truly kind, accommodating hosts through VRBO. The owners are extremely attentive with this VRBO … they are accommodating and want all guests to have a wonderful experience. The property was spotless… I wish I could keep my home this clean and I am pretty OCD. Towels and bedding were very nice and even the decor was homey and very pretty. The view is priceless… little boat traffic and calm waters anytime of day. I wish we had a boat to ski those waters! Neighborhood

Relaxing

I want to say that this place was awesome. The view of Lake Ouachita was breath taking. The huge back porch and rear deck is amazing. We stayed there for my son's wedding in Hot Springs and it was a short 20 minute drive to downtown and a straight shot. The back yard was big enough from for my grandson and granddaughter to play around. We also asked for a sooner check in that 4 and David allowed us to check in at noon. The place was exactly how it was described on VRBO and it was very clean. The den was huge with an open floor plan to the kitchen. We would higly recommend this place to a large family. David easily to get in touch with and very accomodating!

Great little house and beautiful property!

We enjoyed this house so much. Fortunately the weather was absolutely gorgeous, too, so we spent lots of time on the large deck, the fishing dock (no fish caught, though) and on the kayaks. The owner was very attentive with one small issue with the gate, and even checked with us the following day to make sure all was well. The house was super clean and bedrooms very nice. This was a very quiet area, too - just what we needed. We loved looking out at the lake - so pretty!! Would definitely consider staying here again.

Relaxing and private

Perfect location to chill on the deck, hang out by the fire pit at night, and had plenty of room inside for our family. Being right on the river with fish jumping and with the trees starting to turn colors and watching the herons and other birds around the property was peaceful. Kitchen was well stocked and house was decorated for the fall season so it didn’t feel as sterile as some rentals can be. We really appreciated the gated entry and how private it felt. Great place to stay while we were exploring the Hot Springs area! Also, the owner was great with communication, which is always a plus!

Summer vacation

Hideaway Gem!

The reviews don’t lie on this one! This was the perfect place for a quick weekend getaway to catch up with friends. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need to simply relax. How could you not with the lake just steps away and the perfect porch to take in all the view. The guys spent hours casting lines and were able to catch several fish. I’m surprised we didn’t take advantage of the kayaks. David and Linda were excellent host and addressed any questions or concerns we had and went above and beyond to provide easy to access information about the property and surrounding things to do in the hot springs area. We hope to return in the future and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway!

This property is wonderful! This was our first time traveling to Hot Springs and we could not have asked for a better experience. The house is located in a nice area. Very quiet with a beautiful view. It was only 15 minutes from all the places we wanted to visit. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed spending time outside on the spacious deck and fishing from the dock. We also enjoyed viewing all the wildlife. From the geese to the chipmunks. Even some deer in the neighborhood. Our host Mr. David was amazing. From providing a link with all the information we needed, to making the check in and check out process a breeze. I highly recommend this property. We hope to come back in the future!

Comfortable stay!

This was a quiet neighborhood in a comfortable house next to a pretty lake! Many amenities to make our stay enjoyable--quality linens, paper products, toiletries/soaps, and even a smores station! Fully-stocked kitchen and all very clean. The outside entertainment was very nice. Dock was in good shape, kayak/paddleboard for use, and lawn chairs that also were in good shape. The firepit was good, too! The owner quickly responds to questions and is proactive with communication. Overall, we would recommend this to families who enjoy spending time together and on the lake!

Spring Break on the lake

We had such a great time in Hot Springs! The house was wonderful- super clean, comfortable and peaceful. My kids loved making s’mores at night by the fire pit and looking at the stars. I loved sitting outside early in the morning and watching the birds. We appreciated the comfortable beds, s’mores, coffee and cream and the canoe and kayaks! The house had everything we could want. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions that I had and they provided us with a digital guide book that they had made for the area. We can’t wait to plan our return trip! There is still so much more we want to see. Thank you for helping us to make great family memories!

Wonderful Home

This lake home provided our family a wonderful post holiday get away. The location was beautiful and the home was perfect. It was so inviting and cozy. Beds were comfortable and it was supplied so well. We cook most of our meals and this was the first place we've stayed where I had everything I needed (including good knives!). Check in and communication with David couldn't have been better. My husband and son are already contemplating coming back in the spring when the lake is back up.

Can’t help but relax and unwind

This property is so, so nice! Couldn’t be any cleaner. Plenty of room inside and out to spread out, whether it’s just 2 or 8. The porch and deck overlooking Lake Catherine is nice and spacious. Plenty of seating for everyone. The fire pit was nice and large. Very private area. Nice yard for kids and pups if you bring them. Far enough off the beaten path to enjoy the peace and serenity of the lake, but usually not more than 15-20 minutes to Hot Springs proper for all the touristy stuff. House is well stocked with most anything you may need. Just bring your personal things and food you may want to have on hand. One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in. If we had a question about anything, David was so quick to respond. Super nice! Hope we get to come back and bring some of our friends. Thanks for a great stay, David and Linda!

Moms 84th bday weekend

This place was amazing beauty, such a beautiful place and quiet hideaway, we had a girls trip with my mom and sisters and loved everything about this place. Only complaint would be is that I wish I had more days there and my fishing poles were working to fish, lots of fish jumping out of the lake. I would definitely be back with my husband and I know my fishing poles would definitely be working next time I’m there from what David reassured me lol See y’all next time very soon

Beautifully appointed, relaxing lake retreat

Met our adult kids for a wonderful retreat weekend. Only wish we could've stayed longer! Hosts were unbelievable, communicated so well and very responsive, even allowed an earlier check in since we had groceries and a dog. Would love to return in the fall for cooler weather or for a spring break. Thanks for a great stay! :)

Perfect relaxing girls trip

David was very upfront regarding a tree that had fallen on the fire pit and wouldnt be removed in time for our arrival. He offered the option for us to cancel but I'm so glad we didn't. The house was clean and very well kept. Sitting on the patio in the mornings was AMAZING! Great location if you dont want to be in the middle of the busy city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great Stay and Owner

This homeowner was great to work with and very helpful. He provided information in advance on things to do and places to eat in the area. Also, before we arrived, he let us know about a large tree that had fallen in the yard the night before our arrival, and although he was concerned about this impacting our stay we assured him that we could still enjoy our time. The house was very nice and clean. The best spot was the back deck. You could sit in a chair on the back porch or move down to the deck under the lights and enjoy the view of the lake. If I was out this way again, I would consider staying again.

Friends Getaway / Birthday Celebration

Our group met for a few wonderful days to get together and celebrate a birthday. The Hoff Lake House was the perfect spot for our get together. The home was nice and clean and the yard is well maintained. We enjoyed coffee on the porch overlooking the lake every morning. One afternoon, we took a couple of the kayaks out for a paddle. We cooked several meals and the home had everything we needed. It’s very private and peaceful. The furniture throughout the house is comfortable. We were just a short ride to Historic Downtown Hot Springs for a day of exploring. David was the perfect host. He communicated quickly and was helpful in directing us during our stay. Book this place, you’ll be glad you did.
