Great House! Very spacious!

My husband and I stayed for the weekend! We spent the majority of the time in the boat on the lake, but the house was great for the 2 nights we were there! We would definitely stay again!

Property is in a perfect location, lots of good food options nearby and a nice grill on the property. Lots of room for spreading out for a group. Beds are very comfy, kitchen stocked with the essential supplies. The large decks are nice for hanging out in with ample seating. So nice to be able to step down into the lake. 10/10 would recommend.

What a perfect spot

I loved everything about the house and the area! We had a wonderful time spending time out on the covered deck with the fireplace and TV as the weather was not ideal, but that didn’t matter. We also spent time in town which we enjoyed. We will be back!

Birthday Trip

House was exactly like the pictures! Great views and amenities, including the kayaks, hot tub and great upper deck with furniture and TV! A birthday trip for the husband with family to explore Hot Springs and Oaklawn..we’re a horse racing family.. house was close to all!!! The host was amazing! Checked on us on our way up and responded promptly to everything we needed or asked! We will definitely stay again when we come back up!

A first Arkansas trip.

The property was beautiful all the amenities that you could ever ask for. The property host was excellent to deal with. The weather was absolutely fantastic! A trip to historic Hot Springs was very enjoyable a beautiful little town with a rich history. if we could’ve only caught more fish.

First time getaway to Arkansas

The property and the lake were exceptional. The trip would’ve been a fabulous success. Had we caught more fish and that’s the only downside. Hot Springs was a beautiful city with a rich history.

The house was very clean and olenty of space and room to park. There was trash bags washing pwowder and tp already there. The only complaint was there was only 1 rag on top floor no dish rags. And it was harder to get the too floor cool. The bottom floor was very cool. Also the masterbedroom needs curtains. It has blinds but the sun comes right in super bright. But really its a nice clean house.

Worst VRBO in 15 years!! And likely the last!!

The pictures were obviously taken the day they finished the remodel…..since then (years have passed) this house hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned or maintained. There are ZERO smoke detectors, the doors don’t lock properly, one door even has a makeshift “lock” in the form of a broken shower rod. The air conditioner doesn’t work properly. The stairs are VERY steep. The bathrooms were NOT remodeled. Just a cheap paint job. The countertops were sticky. There was SO much dust. Check in was two hours late because of the cleaning crew…..they didn’t clean so I’m not sure why check in was two hours late. The toilet seat was loose. The shower curtain was yucky. The tub didn’t drain. The door to the porch was broken and squeaked badly. The owner texted and called me from his phone. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I know now that he did that on purpose to keep it out of the VRBO app. (As soon as a property owner texts you through their private number. Cancel your reservation. Better safe than sorry. I’m sorry.) He verbally offered me a refund and then when he didn’t fix all that was broken, I asked for the refund and he ghosted me. I have filed a formal complaint with VRBO. Even if this house gets up to code and is thoroughly cleaned, it’s worth, at best 300/night. The houses on this street are stacked on top of each other. It’s a shame that it hasn’t been maintained. I am allowed to only post photos. I took a lot of videos but they can’t be posted.
