New Flooring, Paint & Furniture in this secluded country living cozy home, that sleeps up to 14. Sit out on the decking, enjoy your coffee while you watch the deer graze outside the back fence. 3 bedroom 2 bath fully furnished house. Located in a gated resort community but feels like you are secluded in the woods. PLEASE book listing for total of all guests so that the appropriate amount of supplies will be avail for your entire party. PLEASE do not book this property if you have MORE than 14 in your party. We thought of everything you will need to make your stay carefree. Pots, Pan, Linen, Firewood etc. everything you should need for an enjoyable stay. Large STEP DOWN livingroom. Fire pit for s'mores and hotdogs or the traditional propane grill. Bring your favorite foods to prepare on site or visit many of the nearby local restaurants. Ideal rental for entire Oaklawn Racing season! Local and nearby activities include horseback riding, canoeing and hiking. Just a stones throw away from Lake Catherine, which starts just below Carpenter Dam, the dam that makes Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, AR. Lake Catherine is 11 miles long and Barton Court is located in the quaint community of Diamondhead which is located in the center of the 11 mile stretch. Fish for Striper, Walleye, Crappie or Catfish or just take a serene boat ride. Diamondhead has a 18 hole, PGA rated golf course, Olympic Size Pool, Disk Golf & Pickleball. Plus a marina to dock your boat at. Only 15 miles from downtown Hot Springs Bath House Row, Antique Shops, Oak Lawn Race Track, Magic springs, Fine Dinning & much more. Or you want to golf, fish, hike, swim, ride horses, boat ride or just relax it is all with in a 2 mile radius for your pleasure. Great place for a active vacation or just a peaceful retreat...Sheltered by Lake Catherine State Park, the abundant wildlife in the area includes deer, fox, rabbit, wild turkey, and a tremendous variety of wild birds. For that early morning jog or evening stroll the hazard of city traffic is non-existent. Get away from it all with a visit to Diamondhead. The pool was amazing, the beds were comfortable and the kids loved seeing deer everywhere. It is a bit remote in terms of food, but the kitchen was well equipped to make dinner there.

Extreme safety hazards

The property was absolutely amazing however because of the policy for checking out and the 8 inch sunken living room I fell within 3 minutes of entering the front door. My foot is broken in 2 places and my shin bone is broken below my knee. All of the blinds were closed and curtains pulled closed. One dim lamp was left on. We came in from the bright sun into a basically dark house with a sunken living room. The floors completely blended in with the sunken part. There was no advanced notice in the description of the property or with all of the posted notes.Why was there not a warning sign on the front door? My son fell also but thankfully was not injured. I was put in a leg brace and foot boot and I have been walking with a walker since June 22,2025. Maybe someone needs to reevaluate the procedures for checking out( all lights off and blinds and curtains closed). Also how hard is it to post a sign with a warning?

A beautiful weekend trip

We stayed over a 4 day weekend. The house is in a nice area with quick access (10 minutes or so) to a Dollar General. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space.

Wonderful place

Everything about our experience was absolutely perfect! The hosts were amazing. They communicated really well. The house was gorgeous. As soon as we walked in, we were presented with a beautiful display of s’more’s. The kids absolutely loved it! The house was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. It was in a quiet neighborhood, but close to everything we wanted to see while we were in Hot Springs. Highly recommend this place and hosts!

Marvelous Stay!

We had a wonderful time! Watching the deer and making s’mores was the highlight for the kids. Was such a quiet neighborhood and we had everything we needed. They were quick to respond when we did need assistance.
