“Great location for enjoying downtown Iowa City. The room was clean and staff were helpful, but there were a couple of glitches during our stay. It was a busy weekend and the one working elevator was always full. Our sink did not drain properly so I bailed it with a paper cup so we could run more water—it was late and unlikely that the issue could be resolved that evening without inconvenience to us, the hotel staff, and other guests. They made note of it at checkout so it could be fixed.”

“Overall, a very clean property. Staff was very friendly upon checking and check out. Lots of breakfast options.
Big runs on the outside were loaded with garbage, and really should have been picked up. We did see a family of raccoons right next to the parking lot, which was unusual, because we were right in town.”

“I always enjoy staying at Fairfield Inns. My room this trip was very clean but the facial tissues were like rough! Breakfast was not up to the usual standards! Juice machine was broken, no fresh fruit, and the hot breakfast was late coming out and coffee pots were empty”
