“Had fleas in the room. (My wife got mad leaf early. Didn't even want to eat breakfast. Got bit on the back of my neck and arm. Got up in the morning they were in the tub and on the wash clothes that we had used. I killed a few. And put them in a plastic bag. An took them to the front. Spoke to a young lady at the front desk. And told her about the situation. No manger came to speak to me at all . Have not heard from them yet. And the young lady said that they would call.”

Here we ran into one problem where the toilet in our room some kind of way went out, and they immediately fixed it and put us in a different room no hassle whatsoever very friendly staff in the property was well kept we enjoyed all of the amenities the pool, & breakfast.”

“The AC in our King bed with pull out sofa bed room was terrible. Temperature could not be controlled. Wall thermostat was almost unusable. Expedia stated a $100 pet fee when I booked, but I was charged $150. In addition, there was no mention of a daily parking fee of $5.30 when I booked or at check-in. We left a day early and I understand we would not be refunded that last night even though we did not stay there, but we were also charged that parking fee for a parking space we did not use.

“For the price it was adequate. The room was clean, but shop worn. The amenities were a TV, a microwave, a hair dryer, and a small refrigerator. We only used the refrigerator, and it worked fine. The king size bed was not as firm as we like, but we both slept fine. The receptionist I would not characterize as a people person and English was a bit of a challenge for her. “Abbiamo trascorso due settimane piacevoli e senza nessun problema. L'hotel è accogliente, il servizio gentilissimo, la posizione e la disponibilità del parcheggio, ottimi. Utilissima anche la possibilità di avere sia la WiFi che le telefonate urbane gratuite. Se dobbiamo lamentare qualcosa è solo per la frequenza delle pulizie (1 volta la settimana) ed i materassi un pò troppo 'duri'. A parte questo, consigliamo vivamente a tutti il Candlewood Suites Newport News.”

“Room 930 is very worn and in need of maintenance. The bathroom vanity is heavily worn, and the exposed wood should be refinished, painted, or stained to improve the appearance. Tiled shower had black spots in the corners. The carpet and chair also showed significant wear, making the room feel dated and uninviting.
The ceiling vents had noticeable dust buildup, which contributed to throat irritation during our stay. In addition, the TV was quite small and offered only basic channels.
