Heart of the Heights

Lizbeth’s house is convenient to the rest of the Heights and downtown. It is comfortable and clean! The host is a very considerate and responsive, and we would stay here again and again if Texas were only closer to Virginia! Amazing shower, too, thank you!

The property has been updated, the beds are great, and the neighborhood is quiet. The location is less than five minutes from my son's home. I will book this property again.

Good place! Will be even better with small improvements

This was a new listing with no reviews, so we weren't sure what to expect. In general, we found the home to be great for our needs - plenty of space and location was perfect for our planned activities. Outdoor space was great as we were traveling with a pet. Neighborhood was quiet and we found plenty to do in the area. We were given very little information for check in, which was concerning - however the host was very responsive (especially since it was after 11pm when we arrived). I'd recommend more detailed guidance on check in details for future guests - providing Wifi information, gate instructions, etc. would be helpful vs. us having to reach out for those details. Kitchen was very spacious and had most of what we needed, but was pretty sparse in terms of cookware and supplies. If you are planning to do a lot of cooking, you'll want to ensure you pack accordingly. Unit was not as clean as we would have expected - it wasn't terrible, but clear that the cleaning crew had not been incredibly thorough. We had to kill a roach pretty soon after we arrived, but then didn't have any other bug issues, so might have just been an isolated thing. Trash hadn't been taken out and shower needed more attention. 1 of 3 toiletries in shower were empty and there were no labels to know what was shampoo, conditioner or soap. Shower is also a bit complicated to operate, and would recommend labels or instructions for future guests to make it easier.
