Located in the beautiful, unique and sought after Houston Heights. The house is very clean and fully equipped for a comfortable stay for your upcoming travel, whether traveling for leisure, work, visiting family, visiting Houston as a family or with a group of friends to enjoy the numerous local events (rodeo, games, NASA etc) or any other reason.

As an avid traveler and 5-star Airbnb user myself, I can fully appreciate the need for a home away from home during your travel.

The neighborhood charm, location, and amenities attract a wide range of visitors. There are top-rated restaurants, excellent schools and lots of outdoor areas to enjoy. We’ve compiled a must-see list for visitors that want to get the lay of the land so they can understand where they’ll be spending most of their time in the Heights. For the folks that are new to Houston and the Inner Loop, these attractions are a great place to start to learn more about one of the most popular neighborhoods in Houston.

19th Street (7 mins walk; 2 mins car ride)
The first stop for visitors in the Heights is usually 19th Street. It’s home to numerous boutiques, restaurants, and entertainment. The can’t miss restaurants include Torchy’s Tacos, Squable, Boomtown Coffee, and Harold’s. For live music, you’ll want to check out the Heights Theater. 19th Street is also home to some great events like White Linen Night and the First Saturday Arts Market. The small-town vibe takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and offers a great option to plan your whole day in this section of the Heights.

The Heights Hike and Bike Trail (3 mins walk)
The Heights Hike and Bike trail runs along Nicholson Street and connects all the way to Downtown and the White Oak Hike and Bike Trail. This is one of the most popular outdoor activities for Heights residents that enjoy running, riding or simply going on an evening stroll. In an urban setting like the Heights, the Hike and Bike trail helps the neighborhood enjoy the outdoors and explore the city. On any given day, you’ll see families pushing strollers, fitness seekers running and biking, and area residents walking their dogs.

Heights Boulevard (15 mins walk; 5 mins car ride)
Heights Boulevard is the main artery that basically runs thru the middle of the neighborhood. Lined with historic Victorian homes and massive oak trees, this Boulevard will make you think you aren’t in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the country. It also features some great art installations in the esplanade along with a trail that connects with the Heights Hike and Bike Trail. There are also numerous dining and entertainment options along the way including EQ Heights, Dish Society, and Revival Market.

White Oak Drive (30 mins walk; 8 mins car ride)
White Oak Drive is another popular dining and entertainment district that runs along the Southern Edge of the Heights. There are numerous dining options that range from casual bar & grills to more upscale options. Some of the highlights include Coltivare, Onion Creek, BB’s, and Christian’s Tailgate. This is a great area to grab some breakfast, coffee, have a nice dinner out with friends, or watch the big game.

The Heights Mercantile (30 mins walk; 7 mins car ride)
The Heights Mercantile is one of the newest developments in the Heights and it has quickly become one of the most popular. There are numerous dining and shopping options, a great family-friendly park across the street, and lots of outdoor space to hang out. Be sure to check out Local Foods, Cloud 10 Creamery, and Postino. Since it’s located on Heights Boulevard, you can connect with the Heights Hike and Bike Trail to explore other parts of the Heights.

Entire unit is yours! Listed house is a private and independent main unit with 2 floors of livable space. Kitchen, living room, dining area and a half bath are on the first floor. 3 large bedrooms plus 2 full bathrooms are on the second floor.

Guest will have access to following private living spaces:
- Living room with comfortable sectional couch and armchairs and 65” smart TV
- Stainless steel appliances and fully stocked kitchen with essentials including children's dishes
- 6-seater dining area with high chair for young children
- Full size washing machine and dryer with laundry supplies in the laundry room (in the hallway on second floor)
- Hot tub and furnished outdoor patio, backyard and front porch space

Issues with parking and garage apartment rental. First day the rear parking was full by garage apartment rentor. I had to ask them to move a car which was very unpleasant The rear parking can only be accessed by a heavily pot holed drive.. Not well lit either. The front parking was not available the first night. The description of parking is very deceiving. The front is not dedicated to the house. Not a great house for pets with renters having access to backyard. First morning the garage apartment renter left all the gates open so we had not checked a dog could have gotten out. Having the renter in the garage sharing the backyard or having access is not desirable. The house itself inside was very well appointed and for the most part clean. We did find hair in one of the bathrooms sink and shower.
