Overall, we had a decent stay while in the Houston area. The home is spacious and quaint. The host is very responsive and wants to help. We were out of the house most of our stay, but a few things would have made it overall a better stay.Access to the home was easy and the location is good, especially for our event at Constellation Field.Upon arrival, we noticed the grass was very long at least 12" in the back, making using the back patio obsolete. Fence was also in disrepair. There a couple minor holes in the downstairs bedroom and the middle room upstairs. The lower bedroom also has a cracked frame. Outlets in the downstairs bedroom did not work, except for the TV. Bathroom outlets were fine.It took a quick conversation with our host to figure out where the towels were located on the bed (rolled up, looked like pillows, very decorative). Although there were no extra towels to be found (body, hand or wash cloths).Went to have cake to celebrate a birthday the first night and found there was only one fork, in the dishwasher, dirty. Some of the dishes were also dirty. Also need to bring your own coffee (regular drip pot) and cream/sugar/sweetener. Noticed a few spiders and others around the home, that were quickly dispatched by our grandson. Extra blankets would have been nice.Beds were comfortable and it was nice to find a place with queen or bigger beds rather than twins.We would stay here again, as the rate was good and the location was perfect for us.
