My boyfriend went downstairs to get me breakfast and when I went to sit back on the bed a cockroach was on the pillow, that night when I was sleeping I felt something crawl on me but Inthough was just a strand of my hair so I went to swipe it off and it didn’t feel like a strand of hair but a bug. I was going to dismiss it until that morning when I saw it! Also the pillows smelled like mildew as if they weren’t was or dried properly!

My room was given away when I got there I was offered a king bed with all the kids I submitted and stated I had . I was very unhappy with that. And I had to find a new location miles away from where I needed to be. Vacation ruined!

Unhappy guest!
The room was dirty. Food crumbs on both sides of the bed between the bedside tables and the head of the bed and on the floor in the kitchen area. I found an earring and lipgloss on the floor which confirmed my thought that the floors were not vacuumed or cleaned after the last guest. In the bathroom, hair in the bathroom sink, shower and on the stationary shampoo bottle. Dried, crusty food and greasy finger prints on the bedside tables, coffee table and kitchen table. I took my luggage and went back to the front desk to ask to be moved to a clean room. I was told that the hotel was sold out for the week and guests that had not yet arrived had deposits on their rooms and it would be very complicated to move me to a different room. She did offer to have someone change the sheets. I never said anything about the sheets! That must be a common complaint also. I found my way to a nearby grocery store, purchased Clorox cleaning wipes and did my best to clean the room I had to stay in.

We always strive for the guest's peace of mind by upholding high standards of cleanliness, which, in your case, seems to have faltered. It is also regrettable that we were not able to grant your request for a room change due to high occupancy.Our team members should have anticipated your needs beyond just changing the sheets and gone the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. It's disheartening to know you felt the need to purchase cleaning supplies to service your own room. This is certainly not the hospitality we aim to demonstrate.Measures will be put into place to ensure this type of incident doesn’t happen again in the future. We hope for an opportunity to restore your confidence in us should you ever decide to give our hotel another chance. Your feedback aids us in our ongoing effort to improve our services. Thank you.

Overall positive experience
The room was very nice and the hotel was very clean. Only complaint was the quality of the breakfast. It was not as good as the free breakfast offered at other hotels I have stayed at, and it ended at 9 am M-F

Mark, thank you for providing your feedback. I will double-check that we have all the standards in place for breakfast. Also, 6am-9am is standard among most hotels' breakfast times Monday through Friday. We do offer breakfast from 7am-10am on Saturday and Sunday.

Our room was infested with fleas. There were no other rooms available so I left covered in bites. I was given a discount and allowed to check out early. I asked for my sheets to be changed and was told there were 90 other rooms to clean so I asked for sheets and changed them myself trying to alleviate being bit by fleas. It was a packed hotel and LOUD. It smelled like mildew and cigars down our hallway. Won’t be staying again.

We found a blood stain on the sheets & pillow on one of the beds. That was very upsetting to see, especially after we checked in at 1am and we were all very tired and ready to sleep in clean, comfortable beds. Because of this, we did not enjoy our stay. There was also loose hair on the floor of the bathroom. We saw a roach in the hallway first thing upon entering the building. The hallways were stuffy, and had a strange smell. Our room also never cooled off to a comfortable temperature while we were there. The employees at the front desk were friendly, but I would not stay at this hotel again.

Disappointing Stay
We've stay at Homewood Suites (not this one) many times and always had good service and enjoyed breakfast. It was not the case this tome sadly. Grumpy staff (same person both mornings), no additional yogurt, boiled eggs, muffins or bananas put out. Coffee cups had no lids and upon asking if there were any, the answer was a firm no. Tough for a gentleman there in a wheelchair to navigate with his hot coffee. Right at 9:59 am the lights went out. The room itself was fine. No daily cleaning. Coffee for one cup for the entire weekend. No new disposable coffee cups or creamer. We were definitely disappointed in our stay. Front desk staff were kind. Room comfortable. But won't stay there again.
