Had to contact property owner and VRBO to receive my check-in information just after 4pm when I arrived because I never received it. Property needs some work/maintenance. Owner told me the previous tenant that stayed there the day prior broke some things that needed to be fixed and a maintenance man should be showing up to fix it. That never happened. In fact, it appears to have been a lie based on a previous review from a month prior to my arrival. Everything that review stated was broken or needed maintenance was still not fixed. Broken furniture, leaking fridge water dispenser, leaking dish washer, broken kitchen sink faucet, toilet running in hall bath, no hot water in hall bath, pool fencing needs repair, pool skimmer top broken, etc. I would not recommend this place. And finally, I believe the security camera policy through VRBO allows for outside cameras if the listing announces them. But I don't see where the listing states they are there. So just a heads up, outside cameras are everywhere at this house to the point where its almost uncomfortable to be in the pool area. I believe VRBO needs to take action as this is not a Joyful Hawaii Amazing Pool Home.

Summer house with pool

The pool was severely unclean, fully green with algae, and unusable until the third day. The backyard was littered with trash and debris, including shot glasses inside the pool. Water flooded the back porch area, creating a hazard. The washing machine was completely inoperative. The dishwasher was leaking, contributing to unsafe water damage. The water heater failed during our stay, leaving us without hot water. The kitchen sink was broken, and there were dirty clothes—including pubic hair—in the bathroom tub. The hot tub was not functional. The furniture did not match the listing: seating was extremely uncomfortable and did not accommodate the number of guests as advertised. Spacious Home

The property was spacious and the A/C worked great. It is an older home and could use some updating, especially the pool and fence. The rooms should all have a TV and a mirror. The host was very responsive to our needs. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
