While the room was clean and the pool area looked great outside, unfortunately the staff checking us in that night were not up to paar. It took 4 times to make keys and 1 room change to get into our room. Keys didn't work, front desk guy didn't tell us anything about the property pool location, breakfast times or location, had no info on late check out. And it took him 4 times to get the keys right.
The lady he had helping us was in her pajama bottoms, no uniform. There was a person sleeping in the lounge area. I asked if this was a homeless person and whether the neighborhood was safe. She said it was OK. Turns out later that the person was someone she knew perhaps even an older child of hers. This situation was very unprofessional. The corporate office should really look into who they are employing and give them more training. I felt like I was being checked in by two young adults that didn't work there, but were perhaps watching over a shift for a real employee.
