The pool was not the best. The hot tub eas disgusting and the main pool looked liked it wasnt cleaned in weeks.

Other than the room being reasonably clean, the rest of the hotel had a lot to be desired. They do not have blow dryers in the room. You need to get it from the front desk and make sure to return it after your stay or you’ll be charged a fee to have the cleaning staff return it for you. The kitchenette had nothing in it. If you want to cook or heat something up, you again need to go to the front desk and get it to bring to your room. The only cutlery is plastic throw away spoon knives and forks. No utensils to actually cook with. There is no phone in the room. So if there’s a problem, you again need to go down to the front desk. The pool and jacuzzi are unusable. Not only is the water black in the jacuzzi but you need to be able to reach over a fence that is at least 6’ tall to unlatch the gate leading to that area. Most people, including the front desk person can’t do that. So you can’t get in or out of that area unless you’re over 6’ tall.

Very disappointed the hot tub was not working. Website indicated no issues when I booked, that was the #1 reason I booked with this hotel was that it indicated a hot tub.

The stay at this property has been less than pleasing. I became a bit concerned driving up to the hotel as it was a VERY sketchy area and for 3 women traveling, that's concerning. From the minute I checked in, it was one disappointing moment after another. First, when I checked in, I was informed that the hot tub was out of season. That was the MAIN reason I selected this hotel over others and was willing to pay a little extra. Nowhere on the site description did it indicate that the hot tub would be out of season.In addition to that, they rang my debit card for over $100 MORE than the rate I was quoted from Travelocity. I had to bring it to her attention immediately and at first she didn't believe me but regardless she said to come to her when we check out and she would take care of it. She was very apologetic and explained it was a new system and said she would take care of it AFTER we checkout because she didn't want to take any chances of messing it up again. Our AC/Heater didn't work right and we were not able to switch rooms. The ice machine was broken as well. The ice machine wasn't that big of a deal but it was just one more perk that wasn't available. Normally, we are pleased with La Quinta, but unfortunately this location was not up to par.

This is was a very good visit to Spring, Texas to visit our family. The hotel was very clean and attractive to look at. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and the coffee was very good. Plenty of parking and very well lit The beds were nice and solid. There was one thing I missed and that was the hair dryer and the pillows were on the hard side. Otherwise, it was and excellent stay and this hotel made it for a very pleasant and comfortable visit.

There was a very odd smell throughout the hotel. Kind of an Indian food and Marijuana mix of smells. Walls are so thin, even normal walking produces stampede like noise if someone is in a room above you. Coffee is made incredibly strong/thick, and there are no extended creamer options. Decent option if only needing a place to sleep at night for a day or two.

Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at for that price!!!! Will highly recommend this place to people in the future!! Amazing staff, easy to get too, and right in the heart of the city!!! This is a diamond in the ruff!!!

Friendly front desk staff but the rooms were dirty with hair in towels and sheets. Overall motel needs an overhaul in updating and a scrub down.

First room stunk horribly like cigarettes despite it being a non-smoking hotel. We were changed to another room. When we walked in, there was already someone staying in the room. Front desk could only return us to the original room or change our room type to singles. With small children, that wasn't feasible for us. So we had to go back to the smoking room. Asked for some air freshener and was told there wasn't any. He ended up finding a small plug in for us. When we finally opened the sofa bed to set it up, there was some kind of food in the bed. At first it looked like fesces and/or vomit. But it turned out to be some kind of food item. He returned with fresh bedding for the sofa bed and a small spray of room freshener that smelled awful so we did not use it. He did apologize profusely and tried his best to help, but ultimately said he'd ask the manager to refund and/or greatly discount the room for us. Checked out the next morning with the reassurance that we'd be refunded for all the problems.
