Arrived at 1:07 am. Attendant was asleep so I knocked on the window. He locked himself out of the computer and had to restart it. Finally got checked in at 2:42 am - one hour, thirty-five minutes after arriving, after a useless call to Hotels.com, where my late arrival was blamed for the system shutdown and the clerk's inability to log in. Of course, the key issued for room 216 didn't work, so I had to go back to the office at 2:54 am and get him to recode the keycard.
I got into the room at 2:59 and pulled back the blankets on the bed. There were short, curly hairs (I have locs doen my back), grease and dirt on the top sheet and blood and makeup on the underside of all 3 pillows. Went back downstairs at 3:07 and changed rooms. At 3:10, I got the key to room 206. He took my receipt, tore a piece off the bottom and wrote the room number on it. I asked for my receipt to be returned, and he refused, instead writing the WiFi code in the torn strip of paper with the room number on it. There was a dead roach in the underside of the decorative piece across the bed, all of my towels were dirty, and one had blood on it, but I was too tired to address it. On Day 2, Housekeeping didn't service the room, and I had to . On Day 3, I woke up with the bites on my chest pictured below in the second picture. I did get clean, dingy towels though. On checkout day, I woke up to another set of bites on the other side of my chest. I can't believe this is a Wyndham property!!
