“We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. “They had no rooms available for hours after checkin time. Dozens of people stuck in the lobby complaining. Staff lied about how long it would take for rooms to become available repeatedly. No attempt to accommodate anybody. No list of who was even waiting first, completely unorganized. Waited an hour while the problem only got worse before just leaving and finding a different hotel.”
