“Great value hotel in a lovely location with views over Newcastle harbour. Very modern vibe with great tech features in the room. Breakfast at the Monte cafe was excellent. Would recommend for a short stay in Newcastle. Only negative for us was the beds were too soft and air con quite loud, so had to turn off to sleep. Otherwise excellent. ”

“Staff were amazing. John was super friendly and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Great value for money we stayed in the Family room which was roomy clean with a nice bathroom. Easy access to airport and John let us leave the car at the motel while we travel to Bali, saving expensive airport parking fees. One of his staff even dropped us at the airport. Highly recommend for short stay if flying out of Newcastle Airport. ”

“Very good and large room. Clean and confortable. You can easily reach by car Newcastle the beautiful beaches of Port Stephen. Breakfasts were included in the good price.”

“This place is good for an overnight stay. The AC, linen and bathroom were clean. Parking is quite tight and not many available. If you're sensitive to noise it's not ideal as it's not very soundproof and you can hear people walking along the corridors or opening and closing room doors etc. ”

“The standard of the house keeping was poor, the floors/carpet were not cleaned properly, towel were the smallest I have ever seen in a in anything other than a 3 star hotel, our bedding was not changed during the 4 night stay. Despite booking a bed and breakfast package and a booking confirmation that said "free breakfast" and being given a 2 for one coffee voucher valid for the 4 days, when I went to check our they tried to charge me for anything other than one coffee or tea at breakfast and...

“Lovely clean room, good reception and great location.”

“Loved our huge room with wrap around veranda. Bed was comfortable, room was stocked with plenty of coffee, and the food at the pub was excellent. We could walk to the beach and other restaurants all very close.”

“The Crystalbrook in Newcastle was a pleasant stay for a weekend. The rooftop bar was great, though very busy and they weren't wrong - you need to book for dinner! The room was great, everything is fairly new so it was clean and not worn out. Location is walkable to lots of local attractions, Darby St and the waterfront are all walkable if you're able to. ”

“We had the one bedroom apartment which is absolutely huge. It has two outdoor seating areas on opposite sides of the unit. Access to your unit, the building, and the garage are all a single code to remember. The elevator is quick, though there are only 3 levels (garage, lobby, rooms). The one bedroom apartments are strange in that you have to enter the code at two different entry doors before heading up a staircase to reach your living space. The rewards of the living space more than offset...
