We were in town for a wedding and were pleasantly surprised by how great this location was for hiking, fishing, or tubing in Poe Valley/Poe Paddy State Parks.The house is great. It's very clean and cozy. We spent tons of time on the screened in front porch. I was happy with all of the kitchen amenities and also took advantage of towels being available so I didn't have to lug those with us. “This was the second time we stayed at Herons Cove and it was another great experience. The house is so nice inside but the outside setup is even better. The fire pit, outside deck and patio, and sport court were fun places to hang out with friends. Chris is a great host and made sure everything was right for our stay. We will be back again. ”

“We stayed for 3 nights. Secluded cabin on the side of a hill up a gravel road from the main road. You could see neighbors, but they were not close. This made it very peaceful to sleep and sit on the great front porch. Although it felt remote, we were less than 10 minutes away from the main entrance to Lake Raystown and 20 or 30 minutes from the Allegrippis mountain biking trails. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for my family of four and would have fit more...
