Le attività più popolari della nostra zona ruotano intorno al Lago Raystown e Allegrippas Trail. La nostra cabina si trova a circa 5 miglia da ogni destinazione. Situato su una proprietà 6. 5 acri boscosa, la cabina dispone di 3 camere da letto (8 posti letto). Completamente arredato con la maggior parte dei comfort di una casa, si affitta per la notte o per la settimana dal 1 marzo - 15 dicembre (tempo permettendo). Abbiamo un minimo di 2 o 3 notte, a seconda del periodo dell'anno. Potremmo noleggiare per il mese con la tariffa dipendente dal mese (i) richiesto (i).

Raystown Lake è un corso d'acqua popolare nel centro-sud della Pennsylvania. Il lago lungo 29 miglia e la zona circostante sono di proprietà in gran parte dal governo federale con diversi parchi e foreste nelle vicinanze di proprietà statale. Si tratta di una zona di meraviglioso per trascorrere una vacanza in famiglia con grande trekking, caccia, canottaggio, nuoto, pesca, e bird watching. Altre attrazioni popolari includono caverne, railroading, crociere sul lago, noleggio barche solo per citarne alcuni. Per i golfisti, Huntingdon Country Club offre un campo da golf pubblico a circa 4 miglia a nord di noi. I volontari hanno recentemente creato il Sentiero Allegrippis che è popolare con gli appassionati di mountain bike. tornei di pesca frequentano la zona e barbecue in spiaggia è tenuto nel mese di settembre. Durante il tuo soggiorno, è facile intravedere persino un orso che nuota attraverso il lago o un'aquila calva che ritorna al suo nido.

La cabina è anche a soli 10 minuti di auto dal Juniata College di Huntingdon, PA e circa 45 minuti di macchina dal campus principale Penn State University a State College, PA

Alcuni eventi annuali comprendono Dirt Fest al Trail Allegrippis, il torneo K-Bass (pesca) e creazione Christian Music Festival nel mese di giugno. Amazing Cabin Stay

My friends and I were looking for a weekend get a way and Linda’s cabin was the absolute perfect fit. The hosts were absolutely incredible and made sure all our needs were met and we were very comfortable. The cabin itself was so homey, safe, and clean. We truly had the best weekend and shared so many memories together, thanks to the wonderful hospitality of this cabin. We thank you so much for having us and will be booking again in the future !!

Musty and mouse pee

I have stayed with this for about before but in a different cabin. This time I had decided to rent a bigger one so I could have some of my grandchildren to stay and visit for a night or so. When I got there and opened the door I immediately smelled mouse pee and it was extremely musty and there was a humidifier running so I knew they must have had some type of water problem inside. So I cleaned up a little bit sprayed some febreze and made sure that there was no mouse poop anywhere. Then I looked at all the beds. Aunt was a little worried about going up the stairs to all the beds that were up there which there were four of them which I'm assuming would be meant for children and there is no no stair rungs in between and the children could easily fall off the stairs. Which is such a danger and then I went outside and I thought okay. I'll just straighten up the porch a little bit and there is all kinds of wooden debris that they left. I'm assuming for us to use for firewood with Rusty nails sticking out of almost every single piece of what which is just ridiculous and unimaginable too. Assume that a family would be picking them up in the dark and hoping that they don't stick themselves with those Rusty nails. I'm so disappointed with this stay and the couches were so filthy and the chair that I had to use their blankets to throw over the couches and chair just so that we could actually sit down on something clean. I understand this is a cheaper rental but there's no excuse for h Either way you're not stay with It might be worth spending the little bit of extra money on a place where they actually care

Missed some details

Never saw a very important message from host, describing exact location of property, and did not see on original listing that linens and towels were not included. (this info was included in the message that I missed somehow) Shower was dirty, and couch smelled like dog. Great Location

Canadian March Break MTB adventure

We really enjoyed our week at this cabin. It had all the luxuries - hot water, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds - that we were looking for. Plus it had a beautiful, private covered porch for relaxing. And free wifi to plan our biking. The location was fantastic, perched on a hillside in a quiet rural area. Within 10 minutes, we could drive to the Allegrippis trailheads and Raystown MTB skills park. We were able to ride the whole trail system, in a few days due to warm weather and dry conditions. The cabin was also a good base camp for hiking the Standing Stone trail, within a half hour drive we were able to hike the 1000 steps, and within 40 minutes drive we reached the parking lot for Saussers Stone Pile. Also closeby are the Ridenour And Haun Overlooks. Thanks for a great stay! Recommend this cabin for visitors who love the outdoors, and want an authentic, and rustic mountain experience.

Cozy but a little cramped

The host was very easy to contact, but the cabin definitely was a bit small for the amount of people it sleeps. It was also pretty dusty. But we all had a great stay, so I would generally recommend it if you’re looking a relatively cheap place for a weekend getaway!

The cabin was a bit shabbier than we expected! There was a wire from the shower door frame to the shower head!!! Holding it on I guess?? And the tub itself had a lot of cracks in it! The stair railing was certainly not up to code! For the price we paid we expected more.

Rustic get-away, with amenities

We were in touch with Ms. White, in a timely manner-upon arrival. We stayed 3 nights/4 days. The space was more than adequate. "We" were 2 - could have slept about 10 comfortably. The kitchen was well equipped with about all you would need to prepare a meal. The place was clean and tidy. One thing which was unpleasant - we found and removed - a wasp in the kitchen. This was our last night there, and I suppose it could have gotten in by way of the front door. Also, there was an odor like urine, upon entering the cabin - but once inside a room, the smell dissipated. I think the owner did all they could about it, having a dehumidifier run all the time. The location was perfect for our comings and goings (particularly Raystown Lake). Please provide instructions on the use of the heating system as we didn't get it figured out until the 3rd night of our stay! Not sure we would stay here again...

Cute cabin in the woods

Whar an adorable cabin in the woods! 5 minutes from 7 points marina, but secluded enough that you felt you were in the country. Kitchen was very well stocked with utensils plates and pots and pans. We loved our time here!

Spring break

Always love staying at the cabins, this was the first time in the bigger cabin but it was perfect for the 3 small grandkids while on spring/Easter break from school, can't wait to come back to the smaller cabin in just under 2 weeks for my anniversary.

Rustic lodging.

Easy to find, road leading to property itself needs leveling and maintenance. Beds stiff and uncomfortable. Kitchen basics old and outdated. The area and it’s natural beauty made the stay a pleasant one. I think the overall price point was high for this rental although it’s location was great.

Boat week

Everything was awesome. The cabin was perfect for our evenings off the water. The porch was large enough to have our coffee bar, eating and playing cards/games. The cabin is only minutes from Seven Points Marina. We would stay there again.

Sisters Birthday Weekend

What a great weekend! The cabin was so cute and so clean. There was a lot of room and had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. The cabin was very close to grocery stores, gas, and only 10 minutes to the lake. Definitely will be booking again!

Perfect getaway!

Myself, my husband, my sister, brother in law, niece and dogs all stayed at cabin 4. This was the perfect getaway, secluded in the woods but only a 10 minute drive to the lake. We swam, we grilled, we had fire pits and watched scary movies. If you're looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation, this is the place!

Well we got to the cabin late in the evening when we opened the front door the cabin was so welcoming it felt like someone took the idea for a cabin out of my mind it was very comfortable close to areas I wanted to go it was totally worth it and I will def book it every time I go there thanks to the owners

This was a wonderful experience. It was a cold day when we arrived and the heat was already on in the cabin.Everything we needed for cooking was there.pots,pans,untensils and a coffee maker.I have a 16 ft.boat there was plenty of room to park.Over all this was a great experence.Thank yoju!

Great Weekend Getaway!

This was such a nice place to get away for the weekend without pitching a tent. The weather was touch and go so being able to be warm inside was such a nice option. The property manager was very nice and the place was very clean. Can't wait to book again!
