It was a lastminute booking as my delayed flight made miss the last connection to my final destination. Upon arrival, classic Saturday: not less than 4 events were hosted in the hotel simultaneously so a big chaos in the lobby with kids running all over and many F&B outlets were not accessible, so limited dining options. The Front Desk young lady wasn't able to retrieve the booking, but this wasn't the big point: she declared not to have king sized bed rooms available. I stated I could wait, but she seemed comvinced. I asked to see the Manager on Duty, "she just left" was the answer. "Wow, great, for such a busy night", I said to myself. "Here is her number, you can call her to complain" the agent said. "What about connecting me to her?" I asked... Eventually another Manager approached (Restaurant Mgr., she said) and, miracle, the desired room was found. The room was OK, and the bed very comfy, very cheap shower and the minibar had a strong smell of salami inside though no such snacks were there. The room service menu was very limited, and since the other dining option was the restaurant open air terrace, I preferred to grab a snack in the neighbouring Mall. Back to my room, I wasn't able to sleep till at least 1 am when the music volume downstairs went down. The next morning, after a short walk I troed to get a continental breakfast by the Bar... what a pity: the cappuccino and the orange juice were great, but no croissants or viennoiseries....
