The Monasterio de San Antonio flat block is a very beautiful, 200-year-old former monastery building with a typical inner courtyard, winding staircases and a large sun terrace with wonderful views of the Atlantic and the mountains. It is a fine example of Canarian architecture. During the complete renovation in 2010, its originality and charm were fully preserved. The mostly young international guests like to use the Apartamentos Monasterio de San Antonio as an ideal starting point for mountain bike or hiking tours as well as excursions to the diverse regions of the island.Facilities: The complex consists of 6 flats, a studio and a marvellous large roof terrace with views over the entire valley and the sea. The flats each consist of a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen or kitchenette. Televisions with digital satellite (German) or digital local TV are of course available to guests free of charge in each flat. The kitchens are equipped with a toaster, coffee machine (deposit required), espresso maker, washing-up liquid, tea towels and other utensils for daily use.The house is located on the green outskirts of Icod de los Vinos at approx. 325 metres above sea level. The famous dragon tree and the historic town centre are only about 800 metres away. It is a quiet location with beautiful mountain and Atlantic views. There are also restaurants, shops and supermarkets nearby. The living area is divided into a dining area directly by the window to the balcony, a kitchenette and the actual living area with sofa and two armchairs. The bathroom with shower is accessed from the bedroom. German satellite TV or local TV via DVBT. Of course, the large communal terrace can also be used.
