Casa bioclimatica di recente costruzione, sul lato mare, design con un mix di architettura moderna e tradizionale. Con vista mozzafiato sul mare dal soggiorno, cucina e terrazze. Nel mezzo di una splendida cittadina delle Canarie non affollata. Un luogo per rilassarsi e ritirarsi ascoltando il suono costante dell'oceano quattro terrazze tutte con una bella vista naturale aperta sul mare, campi di banane e montagne. La sensazione di un paradiso vulcanico nel mezzo dell'oceano. Come architetti, costruiamo questo retrofit da materiali sani senza emissioni o inquinanti e carbonio.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in dieser tollen Unterkunft! Ein super Haus auf 3 Etagen mit tollem Ausblick aufs Meer…, die Betten sind bequem , das Wasser in der Dusche schön heiß, Parkplätze am Wasser…. Und zur Begrüßung gab es einen großen Obstkorb und eine Flasche Wein! Vielen Dank! Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!

Fantastic property with everything you could need. Great layout that really do capture the views of the harbour. It's quiet and a good night's sleep is very easy. We packed cabin luggage only for a week. Supermarket near by and a great base to head off exploring. I would recommend a hire car and while there isn't a parking space there is a decent size car park. Not part of the review but a tip for other guests just be careful what time you return from going out as the restaurants in walking distance get busy and it fills up quickly so coming back to a spot could be difficult/a few circuits until someone leaves.

Das Haus ist sehr schön renoviert, modern eingerichtet und sehr hell. Die beiden Terrassen (eine Meerblick, die andere Bananenplantagen) sind gemütlich. Das Haus ist grosszügig und bietet so auch Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es hat ein grosser TV mit Netflix. Im Eingangsbereich (Parterre) störte der Duft nach Feuchtigkeit, in den beiden oberen Etagen war dies kein Thema. Die Kommunikation verlief leider schleppend, aber freundlich. Die Übergabe durch Claudia (wir haben Jorge erwartet) verlief sehr schnell und leider bekamen wir auf SMS längere Zeit keine Antwort. Nichts desto trotz. Das Haus ist wunderbar zum Ausspannen für Ruhesuchende. Es war insgesamt das schönste Haus, das wir je in den Ferien bewohnt haben!

Die FeWo ist sehr schöne in Las Aguas gelegen mit direktem Blick auf´s Meer. Der erste Eindruck beim Betreten der FeWo war Woww! Der zweite Eindruck war verhalten, man bekam das Gefühl, dass die Wohnung noch nicht richtig bzw. vollständig eingerichtet ist. Kürzlich renovierter Altbau über 3 Etagen mit architektonischem Anspruch, jedoch für die Nutzung als Ferienwohnung mit deutlichen Schwächen in der Ausstattung, z.B. 2 Terrassen ohne ausreichende Bestuhlung, kein Tisch, keine Gartenmöbel (haben wir am 1. Tag im nahegelegenen Alcampo als erstes eingekauft!). Die beiden vorhandenen Hängematten (wie auch auf der Abbildung zu sehen) sind aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Aufhängehöhe nur für ein schönes Bild und kleine Leute, jedoch nicht für den normalen Gebrauch geeignet. Eine Veränderung der Aufhängung ist leider auch nicht möglich gewesen. Entgegen der Beschreibung hat die Wohnung nur 2 Schlafzimmer (Doppelbett), das 3. Bett/Schlafzimmer haben wir in 7 Tagen Aufenthalt nicht entdeckt! Negativ aufgefallen ist u.a.: keine Ablagemöglichkeit (Schränke, Kleiderhaken, Regale o.ä.) im EG-Schlafzimmer, unzureichende Bestuhlung bzw. bereits in der Auflösung befindliche Stühle im Esszimmer (die Esszimmergarnitur aus 1 Tisch und 5 Stühlen scheint auf dem Flohmarkt erstanden zu sein und passt so garnicht in das Konzept der renovierten Wohnung). Die ebenfalls individuell geplanten und zusammengebauten Küchenschränke ließen sich nur unzureichend schließen und standen ständig offen (Wandschränke), An einem weiteren Küchenschranke hat die Frontverblendung gefehlt. Für die Nutzung der Waschmaschine hätten wir uns einen Wäscheständer gewünscht, der auf der Terrasse vorhandene ist definitiv nicht dafür geeignet. Die freundliche Einweisung durch eine junge Verwandte des Vermieters, der auch gemeinsam mit seiner Frau als Architekt den Umbau geplant hat, erfolgte mündlich. Es fehlte unserer Ansicht an einer Mappe mit Informationen zu den üblichen Dingen des täglichen Lebens beim Benutzen der Ferienwohnung. Insgesamt kommen wir zu dem Schluss, dass die FeWo für den vorhandenen Komfort zu teuer ist und an der Ausstattung dringend nachgelegt werden muss (Gartenstühle für die Terrasse sind ja mittlerweile jetzt schon da). Unabhängig davon ist die Lage einmalig schön und das Haus hat bei entsprechender Nachrüstung eine hohes Potential für eine schöne FeWo.

Wer abseits vom industriellen Tourismus in einem authentischen spanischen Dorf entspannen möchte, ist hier an der richtigen Adresse. Der Atlantik rauscht nur wenige Meter vom Haus entfernt an die Felsen. Das Spiel der Wellen, die herrliche Luft, und eine kleine Infrastruktur vor Ort (ein gut sortierter Minimarkt, in dem es morgens auch frisches Brot gibt), vier Restaurants (2 davon sehr gut) mit sehr sehr individuellen und während unseres Aufenthalts nicht verlässlichen Öffnungszeiten sind zu Fuss zu erreichen. Der Mietwagen, der empfehlenswert ist, steht sicher ebenfalls wenige Meter vom Haus entfernt am Meer. Beim abendlichen Parken möglichst weit am Haus und nicht direkt am Meer parken, sonst sind versalzene Autoscheiben garantiert! Das Haus selbst ist architektonisch gelungen und auf jeden Fall sehr individuell. Wir wurden von Claudia mit einem großen Obstkorb und einem sehr guten Wein empfangen und das Haus wurde uns kurz gezeigt. Schlüsselübergabe, Kontakt zum Vermieter etc. waren sehr angenehm. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war das Wetter vor Ort in der Regel kühl und bedeckt, so dass das Haus etwas kalt war. Wahrscheinlich ist das bei mehr Sonne aber eher ein Vorteil. Beide Dachterrassen sind wunderbar, gerade die zum Meer hin ist ein magischer Ort. Warum gibt es dann keine 5 Sterne? Bei unserer Ankunft gab es im unteren Wohnzimmer einen Wasserschaden an der Decke, entsprechend war das Raumklima. Mit Dauerlüftung OK, aber schade, dass das nicht behoben war. Das Mobiliar ist sicherlich gerade noch akzeptabel. Während Anrichten und Sideboards aus vergangenen Tagen noch Shabby-Chic vermitteln, sind einige Stühle derart aus dem Leim, dass man sich schon etwas unsicher fühlt. Die Betten hingegen sind gut und der Schlafkomfort prima. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, aber für uns eher in Basisausstattung und insbesondere die Geräte und die Spüle wirkten trotz des jungen Alters des Hauses nicht mehr ganz frisch. Wir haben das Haus als Paar bewohnt, was recht luxuriös war. Auf den Terrassen gab es zwei sehr schöne, bequeme Hängematten (fest installiert auf der Seeseite, eine ist quasi mit Blick aus der zweiten Hängematte abgebildet) und einen (!) betagten Strandstuhl. Hier könnte man mit einfachen Mitteln (Klappstühle, Tischchen) etwas mehr aus den Terrassen machen, insbesondere weil man dort am Abend wunderbar mit Tapas und Wein sitzen könnte.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette merveilleuse maison qui est spacieuse ,lumineuse et dispose de 3 terrasses dont 1 vue mer ,la pièce de vie où est située la cuisine et la salle à manger a également une fantastique vue mer ,on serait bien resté 2 semaines de plus sur cette très belle côte ouest avec ses falaises et ses plantations de bananiers et ses jolies petites villes coloniales ..Si nous revenons un jour sur île c'est définitivement ici que nous reviendrons !

Perfect place to enjoy a slow life. House interior made us pleased with its simplicity, design, details and breathtaking viewes. A very good restaurant just 20m away was just a another gem in the crown of this stay.

Long story short: the house is absolutely amazing, great architecture design with stunning ocean view. Jorge is a very attentive and hospitable host. And the location is perfect for exploring the island, but you do need a car. However, this story deserves more details. So please take your time and read on. As already written the house is very beautiful, on one hand unique, yet fitting in perfectly. It has been beautifully renovated with great use of natural light, it’s nicely decorated, minimalistic with lovely attention to details. I love the architecture and interior design of the house so much, I'm seriously considering to hire Jorge to plan my own house. It looks even nicer than in the pictures. The highlight of the house are the two terraces on the top, one facing east side and has fully open view of the ocean and the other one in the opposite direction, so you can enjoy the sun in the afternoon as well. Rooms are very spacious. The house comes with almost everything one needs in a home away from home: fully equipped kitchen, heaters; hairdryers, WiFi; a flatscreen with Netflix (although we only managed to watch one film in 10 days I was there - too many beautiful places to visit on the island) etc. San Juan de la Rambla is a lovely little gem (don’t miss out on visiting Charco de la Laja, natural pools on the other side of the village, 20min walk). Very relaxing environment completely different from the busier areas of the island. One the one hand it is a great place to relax, while on the other it is a great base to explore the island, with the nearest lively city Puerto de la Cruz (park Loro, nice beach and overall great atmosphere) only 10 km away. It's also conveniently close to Anaga Park–Mercedes Forest (50km); Teide (50km), Masca (35km), Buenavista del Norte & Punta de Teno (25km), Garachico (15km)… Needless to say that we loved exploring the island very much and after long days of wondering around it was always nice to come back to our lovely temporary home in Las Aguas. Jorge proved to be a great host. He welcomed my friends at the beginning and kindly offered to do groceries for us. He also provided us with invaluable local knowledge and tips and kept us informed on local customs and events while we were there. Since we were the first guests to stay at the house, there were a few hiccups with water and electricity, but Jorge was very agile and responsive and together we managed to sort everything very quickly. Highly recommended
