Wildland Aerie is a wellness-focused mountain retreat where thoughtful design meets natural beauty. Its unique octagonal shape encourages calm and clarity, gently guiding you into a slower rhythm. Welcome the day by breathing deeply amongst the ancient pines. At night, unwind in a hammock beneath the stars or gather in our whimsical "Fairy Glen" featuring an outdoor fire pit that glows like a woodland hearth. Adorned with cloud-soft linens and locally handcrafted organic beauty elixirs, Wildland Aerie casts a spell of pure serenity.

- Tesla wall connector level 2 charger is available FREE for guests on site. With fire safety as a top priority, local electric utilities incentivize electric use after 9pm. Please schedule your charging to begin after 9pm and run through the night.

Enjoy the peaceful Scandinavian feel of this divine home with forest views, plus an exceptionally spacious living room, gourmet kitchen, and ensuite bathroom stocked with eco spa-worthy universal wash & locally made organic face oils courtesy of Wildland Organics.

We have a deep commitment to eco-friendly, non-toxic, & upcycled materials - which you will find throughout the space. We use only non-toxic, natural cleaning supplies - 100% cotton sheets, and upcylced materials throughout the home - including naturally harvested decor.

You will find the gourmet kitchen stocked with local coffee, sugar & spices for your enjoyment. Cabinets full of high end cookware, elegant gold utensils, and Hexclad knives provide everything you need for a delicious home cooked meal.

This space was designed to be a place for quiet contemplation - please no parties, no smoking, no loud music, NO CHILDREN UNDER 12, and no additional guests without expressed permission.

Wildland Aerie sits on the same acre of property as the “Wildland Yurt” several yards away. Both properties have exclusive access to their own designated outdoor areas, no shared outdoor or indoor spaces.

For a truly relaxing experience, we especially recommend spending some time in the sitting area by the creek. Directions to hiking trails plus recommended sightseeing, shopping and restaurants can be found on our @wildlandcabins IG story highlights titled "Visit Idyllwild".

We also have an organic apothecary and mindful lifestyle shop in town called WILDLAND that we invite you to visit. We offer special guest-only discounts at the shop year round, check us out on IG at @shop.wildland for a preview of our unique mountain wellness offerings. Upon booking, we will also provide you with a detailed & curated guide to the best coffee & restaurants in town, along with shopping and hiking recommendations as well.

Guest Access:
Private Home with wraparound deck, creek access, and private access to our "Fairy Glen" fire pit lounge area.

The Neighborhood:
Located on Strawberry Creek, this land offers the soothing sounds only a seasonal creek can provide. Usually running September through May, and sometimes all year, please message to confirm - as the creek changes from season to season. Colorful foliage and apple trees ripe for the picking can be enjoyed in the fall. Come springtime, enjoy frogs croaking and the sweet scent of lilacs in the air as they bloom. Walking distance to town (20 minutes), and a short 10 minute walk to popular coffee shop Alpaca Coffee & Tea, as well as brunch & dinner spot Mile High Cafe. 2 minute drive to Idyllwild Arts Academy.

Getting Around:
You will need a car to properly enjoy Idyllwild, though you won't need it all the time. Hiking trails, restaurants, and the town square are all accessible within a 20 minute walking distance. Everything in Idyllwild is accessible within 5-10 minutes by car. 2 parking spots available for the guest space - please park where indicated to keep space clear for UPS deliveries, thank you!
