Hotel vicino a Illinois State Capitol - Springfield

“We stayed in the suite and it was perfect for our family of four. The property has been beautifully restored, with key details preserved. The staff were very helpful. Lots of comfort touches such as warm cookies delivered to our room. Beds were comfortable. Everything very clean. No choice on breakfast. Danishes and cereal were put out, but the main meal was chosen by the staff. Location was very close to downtown. We would absolutely stay here again.”

“Slightly aged property but everything was clean, orderly, and very well kept. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great amenities on site - including 24/7 kiosk with alcohol available. Parking situation was different but easy and cheap. Would certainly stay there again.”

“My biggest complaint is that there is are not a lot more Sleep Inn hotels around the country because I'd stay in every one that was like the one in Springfield, IL. It's a Choice Hotel, probably testing a new boutique line because there are only a few so far. But it's perfect for the business traveler like me. The rooms are not large but there is no wasted space; clean, great aesthetic, great layout, new and well-thought out furniture, great bed, interesting room design, very functional...

“Liked adequate handicapped parking, helpful check in associate, grab bars in tub/shower, spacious room, plenty of AC outlets, room to open suitcases, fridge & microwave in room. Dislike lack of any really good water pressure and slippery tub flooring (was later informed at check out that I could have requested a floor mat, which they have a limited number of), and, I disliked noisy neighbors (and their walls are thin). When I called the front desk to tell them about this, the noise continued...

“What breakfast menu? The property looked good, clean enough and very busy. I wasn’t thrilled with being booked two king sized bed rooms when I had asked for at least one ro to have two beds, but that was taken care of by the front desk. We arrived really tired at 9:30pm to the sounds of very loud drums near our rooms, again , not thrilled, but they stopped by 10, so, fair enough. The TV stopped working for 40 minutes…just explaining why I gave 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. When I called the front...
