“The concierge “butler” Shawn was helpful and pleasant and always available. He was a 10/10. The room could use a deep clean. Bathrooms and linens and all were spotless. Just the floor and carpet need a deep clean, not the daily staff fault. The pool and courtyards were charming and of another era. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. Location is excellent too. ”

“So first I want to sum up my first experience walking in the Drury on Poydras. Felt like I was coming home. I have been a loyal Marriott, Hilton and Holiday inn customer and can't say that I ever felt this way after walking into one of their properties. SO here is the why for the above. “This was the most luxurious stay ever! We were upgraded to a suite and it was a pleasant surprise! The beds turned down, breakfast in the room, and the absolute best bath soap ever were all excellent. The pillows and mattresses are to die for. The location was perfect and service top notch. Can’t recommend it enough!”

“Nice hotel for the area, but I wasn’t thrilled with the rooms based on the price I paid. The bathrooms have a sliding door with no privacy—you can see through the sides and basically see everything—and there’s only one small towel holder. The staff was great, and it’s super easy access to Canal St; Bourbon St is within walking distance. Overall, nice lobby, but I feel like I overpaid. ”
