“My boyfriend and I were for one night in Melissas Flat. The communication with Melissa was really friendly and uncomplicated. She gave us tips for walks and pubs. The flat is cozy, it's decorated with many lovely details. We enjoyed staying here and we are sure it was not the last time! ”

“If you want to see what it’s like to live in the great city of Edinburgh when you visit, then this top floor flat near the Meadows is ideal. We enjoyed the proximity to the tourist aspects while enjoying the neighbourhood amenities (coffee shops, best fish and chips, groceries, close bus stops, good restaurants nearby). The flat is nicely furnished with very firm beds and the bonus of sinks in some bedrooms. Room darkening blinds were appreciated as it was light very late and early morning...

“We so enjoyed our 3 weeks in this apartment! Even quarantining here for 2 weeks was totally doable! The location is absolutely perfect for exploring all of Edinburgh on foot. And the apartment is spacious and comfortable! it was wonderful for me, my husband and our 18 yr old daughter, and would be equally perfect if travelling with an infant or young child -- it is fully equipped for everything. The kitchen is LARGE by UK standards, and included everything we needed for 2 full weeks of preparing...

“This apartment was just what we wanted when looking to stay in Edinburgh. There were a few local restaurants and bars hidden amongst the apartments, within walking distance of many main attractions, and easy to find. The only thing I’d tell Americans, it’s the 2nd floor apartment (which is 1st level in Europe).”

"Way too overpriced for the tiny room you get. The bathroom is bigger than the room itself, there’s not enough space to just be! A tiny shelf, a small one door wardrobe… For more than 200€ a night (avg. of 4 nights) it’s a robbery! The floor has never been cleaned in 4 days, when I arrived there was dirt on the bathroom floor and there it stayed the whole duration of the stay. Also, the fixed shower head… can you not update to a flexible one? I know you are not used to bidet but that would be all people would need in order to avoid taking 2 showers a day, consuming tons of water. I Did not buy the breakfast so i can’t judge on that, but I had to pay to leave the luggage on the last day (it’s 1 pound, but still…this have never happened before anywhere I travelled) "
