“The host cancelled my stay less than 24 hours before my planned check in. I had previously stayed there in February and was satisfied so I booked again for June and another in July. The host sent me a VRBO message, not even a call or text the evening prior to my arrival and informed me of the cancellation. The explanation given was that a long term tenet of 9 months was unable to vacate. This was clearly false as they obviously didn’t remember that I had stayed there just 4 months earlier. ...

Ellen was super communicative and addressed one very minor concern that popped up quickly even though I told her it wasn’t an issue for us during our stay but may be an issue for the next guests. (I wouldn’t have even brought it to her attention until we checked out if she hadn’t messaged me the first night of our stay to see if we needed anything.) The home is lovely and gave us room to spread out a bit, which was nice. It’s a quiet neighborhood. ”
