Aura is your typical airport hotel that takes care of your jetlag by providing you with a comfortable bed and decent sized room. I had stayed their overnight, waiting for the next day flight and was impressed with the room and the services at the place. There may not be very many option around the hotel but I am not sure anybody staying at an airport hotel is looking for much than a short sleep option.”

Accessible by car - this option is not available for many of the good hotels in Bodh Gaya as only e-rickshaws are permitted to access the vicinity of the Mahabodhi temple. “We wanted to experience staying at a real Rajasthani haveli and Khatu Haveli worked pretty well for us. It is a old haveli built in 1860s, has multiple courtyards, very quiet despite the usual street noise outside the compound. The room comfort was good: very clean, with AC, free water bottle per day, kettle, shower with good hot water. The TV in the room has some English channels: 1 movie channel, 2 nature doc channels, and apparently some news channels (which we didn't watch). The food...
