Cottage in Indiana

“The well water smelled the ants that kept coming in the house it's a great place to stop by if you're just going for one night but not for a few nights”

“All around excellent place to stay when visiting Indianapolis. It's within easy distance of everything you could want and even walking distance from a lot. I will certainly remember to look this up again the next time I come.”

“Overall met expectations. AC is not centralized, but 3 separate window units that the fan ran continuously even when temperature not set as low. No on-site laundry. Fridge had freezer burn rolls left inside that had odor, small amount of leaf debris. Access to cleaning supplies kind. Binder of instructions for guest expectations significant with understanding of past abuses by guests regarding pets and body fluids. I have a disabled child who is sensitive to noise and am accustomed to...

“I can’t say enough good things about this property! The entire home was Immaculate, floors, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and everything else! The photos don’t really do it justice, it’s so peaceful and cozy, and beautifully but simply decorated and so comfortable. The pillows were the most comfortable and we all slept like babies. The property is close to Costco, and a Walmart for food necessities or whatever your needs are, and the communication from the owner was perfect. She provided us with...

“Close commute to Shipshewana, beautiful water view,”

“We love staying here. We travel to Indiana 1 to 2 times a year and always stay here. It is a really quiet place and always clean. The staff and owners are extremely nice and helpful. We highly recommend stay there. Checking in is always super easy and if you need anything, you can ask and they have always be extremely accommodating. Five stars for sure!!”

“Clean and cozy”

“I cannot say enough good things about this cute little place! It was perfect in every way. Everything felt very new and it was fully stocked with whatever we could have needed. It is one of the cleanest properties I’ve ever stayed at! Exactly as advertised. We will be back!”

“Very nice stay! Plenty of room and walking district to the business district!”

“Newer small very clean cottage. Plenty of wood to build a campfire. Very nice hot tub area. Outdoors is perfect with grill, chairs etc. Worked out perfect for us.”

“NA”

“Everything was great. Some rainy weather, but the house is awesome with lots to do on a rainy day. Rooms are nice and big. Everything inside appears to be in like new condition. Great relaxing stay!”

“The cottage is so charmingly decorated and communication with the host is excellent. We certainly enjoyed our stay and we look forward to more summer retreats on Skinner Lake.”

“The property location was great. The home was clean and we appreciated all the games to keep the kids busy as it rained one day and we were stuck inside. However there were several things that could gave been updated. The bedroom floor upstairs was chipped and tile was missing in several places. The basement ceiling tile had a water leak stain, there were too many open areas to the crawl space that made us not use the basement bedroom or bathroom. I rehab homes. All of these things are a...

“Our stay was peaceful and it was nicely updated. There wasn’t a dishwasher but that wasn’t a problem for just the two of us. It was very clean!”

“Very nice home for myself and 2 children. Plenty of space and very clean. Host was quick to respond to questions. Very walkable community. Nice pool and activity area. Houses are a little crammed together which was unexpected never having been here. Overall wonderful stay!”

“What a lovely tiny home. I enjoyed my stay in this peaceful, rustic sanctuary that made me feel a part of history and nature. Sharon herself was a delight. I have a knee injury and didn’t want to risk the loft ladder. Pullout couch was quite firm, though, so I might bring my own mattress topper next time I stay. Lots of cute shops and places to check out in Centerville.”

“This little cottage was perfect for our girls weekend. So cute and comfortable. Very well stocked. We enjoyed the kayaks and just sitting on the deck and by the lake. So quiet and peaceful. We will definitely book again when we’re in the area.”

“Cozy cabin with everything you need! Close to nashville and things to do. Enjoyed the stay and look forward to next time!”
