I was upcharged on the room I booked through Expedia somehow and ended up paying far more than the room was worth due to an event that was happening in the area. I won't stay at a Fairfield ever again.

Positives: Convenient to downtown Indianapolis (meaning not difficult to get to, not in downtown ;) ). 5/5 The staff were excellent the rooms were great. 5/5 (I’d give more if I could) Negatives: Some lights outside the building were out which doesn’t portray the feeling of being on top of the property, but it happens. 4/5 Either a staff member or a staff member’s family member/ride was smoking pot in their car in the parking lot, near the entrance of the hotel at 7am… 7am! I know you can’t control what people do in the parking lot, but if it is a staffing situation having a policy against pot in the parking lot would be nice. 3/5 (I’d give less, but I don’t want to detract too much from the great staff in the facility). Thanks you for the great stay!

Driving through Indianapolis, so we stayed one night. Checked in around midnight and left at 9AM. Treadmill and exercise area was all in excellent condition, everything in the room was in excellent condition, continental breakfast in the morning was everything expected and staff was present for assistance. If you are looking for a clean, practical place to stay, you won't do much better.

The Hotel was amazing! Jacuzzi tub worked well, and everything was clean and tidy. The only issue was the 8 hours of stomping and banging from the upstairs neighbor that was never resolved by staff or security.

I usually stay here for at least one night every 4-6 weeks. This was my 7th and probably last visit at this location. This is the second time that we have encountered bedbugs. Outside of this problem everyone associated with the property always have gone above and beyond.

Cleanliness was ok. Given accessible room even though I didn’t request one and staff wouldn’t change my room. The first night they said they were sold out. They overbooked and put me in a room I didn’t reserve nor wanted. I was told they would change my room for the second night and they didn’t.

The staff as a whole were awesome, helpful and friendly. We stayed in an executive suite. The room smelled moldy and musty when we arrived. We quickly discovered the mini fridge was useless as the door would not stay closed unless we propped something heavy against it. The iron, while having a cord that was long (which we like and needed as we were in Indy for a costume event), would not get much more than warm. The furniture seemed dated and was not comfortable. The bed was average for comfort, not nearly as firm as we like. Aside from the musty odor, the room was clean and tidy. The single most glaring issue was the air conditioner, which when running literally sounded like jack hammer outside the window. We could not run it at night as the noise would keep us awake. It's also hard to get a good night's sleep in a warm stuffy room. We will not likely be coming back this facility in the future.

First room the whirlpool wasn’t working and they moved me to another room and the buttons were missing from the whirlpool. I wanted to go there relax but I couldn’t the microwave wouldn’t turn off I had to unplug it after that I left and never went back I was in the room for about 2hours

We arrived at 1am, paid full price. Therefore, we woke later than expected. Understanding that we missed breakfast, I was only hoping for a cup of juice. 5 minutes after breakfast ended (9:35am) the attending staff rudely refused to allow a cup of cranberry juice and informed me that I could purchase one at the market.

My room was double booked the property manager sent me away with no explanation besides that the room was already booked and I needed to contact hotels.com so I was left without any room and board on a room the was supposed to be guaranteed

Fun Hotel
Interesting things happened. Not bad but pur door didn’t want to open. Super nice front desk taught us that we needed to aggressively open the door... so that was fun. 2 TVs in the room so that was cool. 1 remote. Couldn't turn on the tv by the beds but it worked for the tv by the couch. The down channel button did not work. Searched for another remote. Realized that the TV was unplugged and found an open bottle of Jim Beam. My husband was sad that it wasn't sealed. Fun times. Everything was clean, breakfast and the pool were nice and all of the staff were super frinedly!

Avoid this hotel! First, I called to confirm our request for connecting rooms, which was the only reason we picked the hotel. The front desk confirmed we would have connecting rooms. We arrived and they gave us separate rooms and said there was nothing they could do about it. We asked for linens for the pull out couch and they were never delivered. For breakfast, they ran out of everything, including plates, coffee, and food. They just collect your money and then don’t care about anything else.

Was not told we were being charged $5 a day for parking! Was told the $40 hold on my card would drop off. But the $10 was charged to it. Other than that, we loved our stay. Did not get to try the breakfast. Stopped to early for us.

Hot tub is broken. This is the 2nd place on My trip where the hot tub has been broke for a while, but yet the property still lists it as an option.

The staff was excellent my whole stay! So fun, supportive, and awesome service! My tub didn’t drain as fast as I’d like, but that’s my only complaint.

Let's start with the area, very unsafe. Strange people lording in the area. Everything is old. Let's start with the food this is the biggest day of the year INDY 500 for Indianapolis. This place can't put out a box of Danish. We were served spoiled milk, frozen chocolate milk stale old muffins at least a week old. A room full of people 3 bananas that's it. No Danish no donuts zero effort. The shower dispenser for soap was watered down so much you could not use it. I paid top dollar, and this place is a dump. I will never trust expedia rating system again.

The front desk employees were great. The room had a moldy sandwich in the drawer and the door to the room was very difficult to open. The person did give us compensation for the sandwich being left in the room.
