“Great place to stay, excellent clubhouse with great staff and food. The only downside was that the suite we had was very small, with no seating and no wear to put your suitcases, and only one TV in the main bedroom, which wasn't that great when sharing with others in our party.”

“View from room 26 lovely. Trouble was blinds and curtains had to be drawn as room was very very hot. Air con did not work and hotel said it was policy not to air con bedrooms. Spoilt our stay Staff very friendly”

“We love this hotel and its' location. Our main criticism didn't affect our stay, it's just that it is rather tired in places. Everywhere downstairs and the landing was perfect. Our bedroom furniture was very tired and the carpets had some permanent marks. The outside of the property is also very tired, a lot of paint is flaking and the gardens aren't as well maintained as they could be, lots of weeding needing to be done. It is a lovely quirky hotel and it's a shame these things let it down...

“We had a lovely spacious room and bathroom that were comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was powerful, however, there was a gap between the screen and the bath so the bathroom got soaked every time we used it. The room doors need a soft close mechanism fitted to stop people from constantly slamming doors. The breakfast was not too bad but could do with some more cold options. The breakfast tables are very sticky! Overall we had a lovely stay.”
