“This is an older motel that when speaking with the lady at the desk said was just acquired by a new owner last fall. They have done a lot of work to the rooms and exterior of the building with all new everything in the rooms. It is an older place but it being brought up to modern standards and amenities. They are still in the process of getting their vintage sign restored and a few exterior upgrades but I would highly recommend. Has the potential to be one of the nicest motels in the Luray area....

“We liked the people. We enjoyed dinner 2 nights at the bar downstairs. The rooms were very spacious. I loved the artificially lit fireplace, but only one side worked. Our biggest complaint was the terrible mattress! It was too soft with significant dips. We had to put towels underneath the mattress cover to add back support , Sadly, because of this we will not return.”

“La struttura è facile da raggiungere e offre sicuramente molti percorsi nelle vicinanze. Purtroppo non vi è Wi-Fi e poco segnale telefonico. Inoltre in camera l’impianto di condizionamento è regolabile ma non si può spegnere e il rumore non ci ha quasi fatto dormire. Infine la vista non è così bella come pubblicizzato. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo non è adeguato. ”

“It was PERFECT. I hesitated a lot because of the reviews but decided to stay because we were staying just for one night. We stayed in the room with two beds and it was renovated with nice bathroom tiles and modern mirror. There was a picture of the pool but no description of the pool as an amenity but I was presently surprised that pool is there and open from 9 am-10 pm. It was so beautiful and peaceful surrounded by mountains. There’s a vending machine and 24/7 coffee and tea in the lobby....
