Then book yourself a break in the Alpine summer and enjoy the fresh air and pleasant temperatures.The alpine hut is built in the typical chalet style of the region with a living area and a stable.The hut has been gently renovated.The living room is equipped with an eat-in kitchen, a dining table, a bunk bed and a Swedish stove.The bedroom has a double bed and a small dormitory for a maximum of 3 children (access via a ladder).The bedroom is heated electrically with underfloor heating.Hot and cold running water and electricity are available in the house.A DAB radio is available in the hut. The alpine hut has no W-LAN.There is a table and chairs on the terrace.The Alp Gental serves as a pasture alp in summer and is used for grazing. An alpine cheese dairy and the stables are located nearby. Accordingly, there are dairy cows with cowbells fenced in around the alpine hut during the alpine summer. The alpine farmers sell homemade products such as cheese and yoghurt.Further shopping facilities can be found in Innertkirchen.There are various hiking possibilities directly from the alpine hut.The bus stop is a 3-minute walk away and connects the alpine hut with Engstlenalp, Innertkirchen and Meiringen. Detailed information about the bus connections can be found at engstlenalp-bus.ch The private road is accessible to private transport for a fee.A fishing licence can be purchased on Engstlenalp.In summer, you can hike over the Joch Pass (chairlift) into the Titlis region as far as Engelberg.The alpine hut has two comfortable deckchairs (deckchairs with cushions), which can be used both indoors as reading chairs and outdoors as deckchairs.
