“Check in was easy. Max met us and showed us where everything was at. Max and Anne even met us at departure to wish us safe travels. I’ve stayed at many places and this place offers the most amount of amenities, from cleaning supplies to coffee to odd and end things like sunburn care. Plenty of towels and extra bedding. It is located on the back side of their home, but my privacy was maintained. The landscape around the pool and home offer plenty of privacy. Replies to my messages were quick. ...

“My mother and I had a wonderful stay! The hosts are beautiful people. Any issues or concerns we had were quickly addressed. The home and property looked great and it was a very relaxing environment. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. We were introduced to theirs horses and friendly dogs. There are also chickens, cats, and various wildlife to enjoy. “This property was amazing! The check-in was very easy, with a convenient water taxi to and from the property. There are goats, pigs, chickens, and ducks on the property and they are all very friendly. The host was great and super accomodating. This was a great stay, and I cannot recommend it enough if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat.”

“The cabin was perfect and exactly what we needed. The lake was everything we hoped for. We kayaked, fished, swam and reconnected. The water is clear. The WiFi works well within the cabin and porch area. Make sure to map your way out before leaving. There is a store about three miles away just in case you forgot anything . The host was kind and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about Ed and Wanda. I definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway as a couple or a family. ”

The decor was obviously carefully curated by the owners with impeccable antiques as well as one of a kind crafted pieces.
