“Great location. Nice upgrade to executive room.but it's beaten up.tired. lots of cracks,needs a refresher. Mold in shower tiles. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Just tired rooms.”

“A “well used” hotel - still use actual keys for rooms (nothing wrong with that but indicates lack of updates). Shabby carpet in reception repaired with gaffer tape (not great for 1st impressions). Rooms lacking soundproofing. Can’t comment further as decided it wasn’t for me and checked out without staying - this was within 10 mins of checking in, receptionist looked perplexed but didn’t actually ask if anything was wrong. The room was clean.”

“Room itself fine but newly fitted shower tray flooded bathroom - Room service poor as 3 different menus give 3 different times this is available and a 4 Star hotel stopping room service at 8.00pm???? Wnen cold sandwiches came with chips quality was v poor - drie out bread a scraping of butter and over-fried oily chips - definitely not a 4 Star hotel - younger bar tender needs training on customer service and attitude. Housekeeping staff and receptionist great.”

“The room was nice and clean , not happy about having to try find a cash machine last minute to leave £60 deposit for room, wouldn't let me have the key to use the toilet in my room untl i got the money, no plug in bathroom sink and when i went down to tell woman behind counter i was told no rooms have a plug in the sink,how are you supposed to have a wash a”

“Tony and Linda were lovely hosts who could not do enough for their guests. Bed super comfortable, breakfast delicious, room lovely, hotel absolutely spotless. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Thank you so much Tony and Linda for looking after us so well. Jo & Stu ☺”

“Kelly the host is really nice. Very up to date decor, however room wasnt the cleanest. Couldnt use two of the pillows as they smelt mouldy and were dirty cases Our room (101) came with two keys, one for room and one for front door which was explained, however our door couldnt lock. I phoned Kelly and she explained she would come and check it out within 10 mins. Upon arriving back at hotel having been out all day, our room was still unlocked. Fortunately we didnt leave anything of value in the...
