“Room itself fine but newly fitted shower tray flooded bathroom - Room service poor as 3 different menus give 3 different times this is available and a 4 Star hotel stopping room service at 8.00pm???? Wnen cold sandwiches came with chips quality was v poor - drie out bread a scraping of butter and over-fried oily chips - definitely not a 4 Star hotel - younger bar tender needs training on customer service and attitude. Housekeeping staff and receptionist great.”

“A “well used” hotel - still use actual keys for rooms (nothing wrong with that but indicates lack of updates). Shabby carpet in reception repaired with gaffer tape (not great for 1st impressions). Rooms lacking soundproofing. Can’t comment further as decided it wasn’t for me and checked out without staying - this was within 10 mins of checking in, receptionist looked perplexed but didn’t actually ask if anything was wrong. The room was clean.”

“My room was next to the cleaners storage room. I arrived on a late flight at 2am. Due to this, I paid for later check out £20 for two hours), so I could rest after my late arrival. I was woken by noise in the corridor at 4.30am, with loud talking and banging. This continued for 30 minutes, then I left my room to see what was happening.
