“Totally love the idea of this cute getaway but it wasn’t quite ready for us to stay and the pictures and descriptions are misleading. There is a highway between the domes and the waterfront and each dome has a designated bathroom shared by all the domes but not within the domes themselves. The bathrooms are a 3-4 minute walk up to the hill. The inside of the dome was very neat and clean but the wifi didn’t work. There is no water available in the dome so if you’re wanting to use the coffee...

“Great place to stay on the Cabot Trail”

“It would be nice to control the TV with the remote. After travelling all day, wanting to relax and watch the news, and having to manually power on the TV and then manually adjust the volume is living in the 1960's. The breakfast is a joke......no fruit, no yogurt, no rolled oats. Breakfast was: boxed juice, muffin, eggs, sausage, potato, white bread, coffee......end of story!!”

“Best view”

“Bad spot to stay, hotel had lots of potential but it is clear the current owners are not putting in an effort to keep it going. Stayed for 4 days and would not recommend this place. Location - good Room - dated and dirty Bed - frame was broken on arrival and we had to put it back together with spare chucks of wood under the bed from the last time it broke and was not repaired. Bathroom - dated, with bad plumbing and a loud squeal when tub was running. Breakfast-Awful we ate out 3 days after...

“The property, rooms & grounds were well maintained & staff was great. The dining room was pleasant but the breakfast was disappointing. We stayed two nights & the second morning we ate elsewhere”

“This motel is a good choice. The view is amazing. I loved that there were tables, chairs and a fire pit outside to enjoy the scenery. The beds were okay, not the best, but nowhere near as bad as some other motels. Although the place is old, it feels like there’s investments made in it, with the new heat pump and television. There was a whole in the wall next to the bath though, and there’s still some things that could be renovated. I would stay there again.”

“Great convenient place to stay”

“Face cloths were clean, but permanently stained. Television was a mystery to operate. The staff tried to be supportive, but it felt like they weren’t given what they needed to be as helpful as they wanted.”

“Great little hotel, very well kept, with just the right touch of antique furniture. The rooms are super cosy and the dining/living room is very nice with a beautiful view. The 7-course dinner was outstanding and came with well-paired wine recommendations. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Overall, pretty much the best hotel experience we head during our two-week tour through Nova Scotia.”
