Hotel a Isola di Cape Breton

“A rustic hotel that is in a perfect location for visiting the area. We booked here because of the location. The check it was good and the people were friendly. They got us in quick, and gave us the information we needed about the area. For us the room and bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable, nothing sticking out or hard. The showers worked with no issues and gave us plenty of hot water. The restaurant was nice, the staff were very pleasant and the food was good. The only complaint I...

“It's an older hotel right on a main street. The walls are thin so it was fairly loud in the morning with cars and trucks going by. People were smoking outside my room late at night and I could hear every word. It's basic but clean. Staff were very nice. Restaurant quality was a nice surprise. I would stay again but bring earplugs. ”

“This is my favourite place to stay but this time the room was dirty. Bed was hard. Too bad because i like to stay there. Loud trucks outside till 11pm and for woken up again around 5 am with the same trucks. Parking lot was very busy.”

“Our stay was for 1 night only. The staff were very helpful and happy to oblige in any way. But this resort is OLD and although cleaned as best could be, the room was adequate at best. Our king sized bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet so we had a good night's sleep. But some things were just very old and outdated. the hallways were very tired and dismal decor. The bathtub was clean but stained from years of use. The white shower curtain was clean but almost grey from use. There...

“I’ll preface by saying I know it’s the off season… but we found there was usually nobody around and things were pretty neglected. We found everything comfortable enough, our room had been cleaned and linens were clean, but the rooms are not in the best condition. Ther stairs to the building had thick ice. The rooms that you enter via a hallway are noisy (the key code for the door is super loud!) and make it feel more like shared accommodation.”
