“I was due to spend 2 weeks with my Gambian partner but due to unfortunate circumstances she was not able to come. The language was slightly difficult as I do not speak French or wolof, but the friendliness of the local people made sure I had a great time. ”

“Pros: The hosts were lovely and helpful. The property was spacious and beautiful with many little extras not always found in Senegal Vrbo’s like hairdryer and microwave and a washer. We have a vehicle, so the location was good…about as close to the airport as you can get in a Vrbo. Also, a very short walk to the beach. “The house was under construction, and the manager told me it was live on internet by mistake. But was it really? He said he hasn’t received the payment and thus couldn’t make a refund. I had to clean the bathroom my self (buying bleach at grocery store) as it was beyond bearable.
