“The Sandcastle on the Beach in St. Croix is an ideal location for travelers. The hotel is well kept, staff is extraordinary, food is delicious and the owner's obviously love hosting their guests. The beach is pristine and about 10 steps away from Sandcastle. Sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, lavish beach towels; all are there for guests. I also appreciated the adults only status.”

“What a great location with 5 star views. We practically had the entire beach to ourselves for the 5 days we stayed. The resort could use a little updating but I’m not complaining because I loved every bit of our time there. Breakfast is amazing! I’m so sad it’s going to be turning into a club med. “I believe this property is 3 1/2 stars and I normally stay at 4 and 5 star resorts but this place is just quirky enough to make me curious. I'm glad I was because I was pleasantly surprised. Having been an Expedia client for many years, I rely on the their information for making decisions about locations to consider. This time we were duped. We were told of dining and bar options that were either closed permanently, closed early, or provided very limited options. For example, the coffee shop's espresso machine was broken and had been for months. The lobby bar and Italian restaurants...

“Awesome views at The Waves!! AMA restaurant and Cane bay beach within close proximity made us want to stay on the north shore all week. Front desk and housekeeping were super helpful and responsive to our needs. If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation in St Croix I would highly recommend staying here. “I love the room. It was spotless and well laid out. We had a lot of room. The balcony was wonderful. The view was wonderful. The keyless doors were great too. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. The staff was very helpful and lovely. The little store on site had a lot of nice last minute things. Amenities, drinks, snacks, souvenirs, and toiletries. The drawbacks were pretty minor but here they are: the water pressure in the shower was very low, so don't use a whole lot of soap....

I was shocked by the fact that guests have to pay twenty dollars a day to use an umbrella on the beach, and you only get one free lounger, your travel partner will have to pony up 15 bucks. No coffee maker in any of the rooms. Our sliding glass door to the balcony was broken, and we only had WiFi in our room for about 5 minutes the entire time. The pictures are very inaccurate, the place is in shambles from hurricane damage and it’s a bit depressing when...

“I would stay here again. We were here 9 years ago and loved it! It was just as good this time. Views are wonderful, beach is very nice and not crowded, bartender Connor was excellent and food truck was delicious!! We fell in love with the cats around our cabin. All in all, this place will always be our place to stay!! ”
