“Peter and Tessa were incredibly helpful and welcoming, also very communicative prior to our arrival, which is always appreciated. We mostly appreciate their kindness as it was my husband's birthday on the day we arrived and I ordered some slices of cake from a nearby bakery, which they accepted and kept ready in the room for us when we arrived. “Overall acceptable “motel” but probably not worth the value , it’s close to the lake but certainly not to the front. The “front” of the rooms offer fantastic views and sounds from a trafficking road instead. Rooms are pretty old fashioned and the bed was garnished with a brownie fake ( and dusty) fur. Welcoming was excellent though but certainly not sufficient to compensate.”
