Chalet a Isola Settentrionale

“Great place to stay.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Hole in the Ground - a fun and unique place - it's a great set up and excellent location to explore Cambridge and Hobbiton! We especially loved the friendly cat and inquisitive chickens!”

“The room was awful! Had over 500 ants, dirty, wet with rain water coming in to the room. We complained to you and the owner. He agreed to move us but charged us more than twice the rate for the room. It was very unhealthy to stay there. I would like to make an official complaint with you all as it was a shed changed to a room and just not a bedroom. No tables, closet or anything. Absolutely awful!! Disappointed that you could not do anything to help us and we were forced to stay there for one...

“average old chalet ”

“No WiFi”

“The place wasnt refreshed for our stay. Dust inside all the cups and on the tables etc. A dead roch sitting in the container that held the tea n sugar. Need to supply 2 more towels as there was 2 people staying 2 nights and we only had 2 towels. Lawns were unkept. Theres a tin shed ryt out where the bed is. It was scratching n banging up on the wall and keeps you from falling into deep sleep. The blue pillow cases had dribble stains on the fabric. If these details where more tended to it would...

“Took an hour for key to be located, then someone else in our room! Was double booked! Wasn’t even the accommodation that was advertised. No other accommodation available in Auckland, nearest we could get was Huntly! No assistance finding somewhere. Absolutely worst experience ever. Don’t stay here, nightmare”

“I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again. It was perfect for what we needed. However, I would say the listing is a bit misleading. The pool, hot tub and fire pit are not actually at this unit. The property consists of four separate homes and the owner lives in the main home. The pool, hot tub, fire pit and gym are all on the main home's property and are shared. You are basically in their backyard. It was too cool to use the pool anyway, but we may have used the hot tub and fire pit...

“Traditional place very cool for friends to bond no tv which is awesome basic utilities not fancy perfect for a group of people”
