“Very handy to the Tongariro crossing and National Park. Warm and cosy. Easy parking. Very well equipped kitchen. Only one change I would request and that is to have it detailed that it’s recommended to take your own sheets, towels and tea towels when booking. ”

“Beds were not made. Temperature dropped to 6 degrees and electric heater was not working in living room. Used wood burning stove and chopped wood for next guest.Expected to vaccum. Not sure who cleans the bathrooms.”

“Overall a good place if looking to stay in the area as there are limited choices. Access to house was via lockbox/key which was easy. House itself had plenty of room, with a spacious common room with fireplace as well as firewood/kindling/coal provided. Radiators in every room for heat, which was needed even during our summer stay.
