“Right next to and along the Marine Parade Have a private spa tub within the room. Digital TV Has facility to cook but utensil is just ok”

“Great stay, lovely, clean and cosy. Staff very helpful and friendly Napier fantastic and owner provided us with a list of tried and tested eateries which we used, thank you. Recommendation to Te Mara peak also fab Location great, right on the beach”

“Perfect for an overnight stay, liked having 2 bathrooms.”

“Great view and great staff. We really enjoyed our time there. thank you”

“Very nice room with a separate room for queen size bed and twin bed in different room. Kitchen was wonderful with plates, cutlery, cups and glasses etc. There was a stove top hot plate, fridge etc. Very nice set up. Grocery store and many restaurants nearby.”

“The Rocks is, surprisingly, a very modern motel with lots of space and good amenities in the rooms. It is conveniently located on a main road, but the traffic is not noisy. It is also located right next to a large tidal nature preserve area with lots of tracks and wildlife viewing. The staff are very helpful and there are several eateries within walking distance. Highly recommended.”

“Clean, cold room in the shade..”

“Avoid the front studio rooms, noisy and close to the road.”

“It would be helpful to have a sink in the kitchenette rather than needing to use the bathroom basin”

“Everything about this motel was terrible couldn’t get the TV to go the tap in the bathroom was broken everything seemed dirty even the sheets on the bed didn’t seem like they were fresh it was a terrible horrible experience never ever would stay there again and I would certainly be putting a bad review if they’re on Facebook”

“Clean and comfortable bed!”

“Stated rooms were soundproof but weren’t. Not very clean at all. Toilet roll holder hanging off the wall. Dusty floor behind toilet door - not vacuumed in a long time. Skylight was mouldy. Skirting boards were filthy. Even the facecloths were stained.”
