Ryokan a Izu Ōshima

“My family of 3 stayed two nights at Hinodeya and it was a wonderful experience all around! This was our first visit to the Izu-Penninsula and we had such a great time. The owner and staff were so kind and accommodating, truly good spirits in this generational owned ryokan. The baths were very relaxing, the entire place was very clean and good spirits all around. If you’re looking for a family run experience vs. a corporate hotel, I highly suggest staying. Also, their massage chair is...

“One of the most incredible stays of my life. The resort is beautiful with lots of onsens. The staff were very sweet and professional. They were very accommodating to upgrade my room for my honeymoon. The breakfast and dinner is soooo delicious. Highly recommend”

“Hôtel absolument incroyable”

I rather wish I had booked the other one. It’s not that this place is bad….but it’s not really worth the price either. To start with, we booked a non smoking room. “Better service, good location”

“Well kept Japanese ryokan near the ocean. Delicious kaiseki dinner. Four private onsen on the upper floor. Also onsen in the room.”

“特別室に宿泊させていただきました。 絶景を眺めながらの客室風呂は非日常な幸せな時間を過ごさせていただきました。 食事も美味しいので、おすすめの旅館になります。”

“期待しずぎたのが原因か たいした事はなかった。 逆に施設が古く　残念でした。”

“Nothing short of an exceptional stay. From the staff, check in/out process, breakfast and dinner, hotel onsen - all of it was exceptional. There is a local train station within walking distance, and daily shuttle service into the quaint Ito town. Leaving Komeya rejuvenated and with a lot of gratitude to have experienced the Japanese culture. Thank you to Luna and everyone who did wonderful. A little English but alot of respect. Honto ni Arigato Gozaimasu.”

“最高でした！ また行きます！”

“the room smelled of cigarettes.”
