Hotel vicino a Jackson Street Park - Springfield

“Never have I stayed in a hotel that you could hear everything the people in the next room said until I stayed here. Which means if you’re a light sleeper, you’re not getting sleep. Worst sleep of my life, we were supposed to stay 2 nights but checked out after the first night and went somewhere else. The staff was great, the breakfast was great, the room was clean but holy cow put some work into your walls. Also, the pictures on Expedia are false about the hot tub - they do NOT have a hot tub...

“The property is not bad, but I was a tad bit diaspointed considering this is a Marriot property. First, the toilet was dated and the flush valve needed to be changed, so the toilet would continue to run. Also, I was not a fan of the room's configuration. Having the TV placed in such a way that forces guests to rotate it in order to see can be a little annoying. “Staff was friendly and helpful when checking in. Room was clean and very quiet all night. Bed was extremely comfy. We were able to park right out near the front entrance. Breakfast in the morning was great. Lots of choices both hot and cold. Highly recommend. ”

“We arrived late and the code they provided was erroneous. We finally got into our room and there were few amenities. A tiny bath gel that wouldn’t have gotten both my husband and I through the two days there and no lotion! More importantly, no staff onsite after 5 pm and apparently there is an on call person who gave us the right code but we didn’t know that the person was on call for all issues. My shower in the evening was lukewarm and I didn’t report it because I didn’t think anyone would fix...

“No freezer in the refrigerator so if you are traveling with a cooler no way to refreeze your ice packs. Luggage carts are the worse, choose to make multiple trips versus using one of the carts. ”
