“Gorgeous view overlooking the bay. Enjoyed drinking wine and sitting on terrace while looking at the bay and watching sailboats. Wonderful staff who go above and beyond. Delicious breakfasts and 5pm social with drinks and food. Great location with walking distance to St. George St. Enjoyed walking on the old paved streets and looking at the old homes. Parking was not a problem.”

“I had a wonderful five night stay here. The location is convenient but in a quiet area. Parking is included and an easy walk down a block and around the corner. I parked my car and never moved it. Everything is very clean and tidy. The staff is very helpful with all arrangements. The guests were all lovely and shared some good ideas about things to do and see. “Charm and location. The room we stayed in was truly like being home (we live in an 1892 Victorian) and we instantly fell in love with the decor. Unlike the "brand name" lodgings that we've become accustomed to The Powder House was the antithesis of the sterile institutional cookie cutter banality. The "staff" was charming, beyond hospitable, and very proud of the quality of the experience created for the quests.
