Welcome to Coastal Kyma, a completely reimagined oceanfront retreat on South Fletcher where the beach is just beyond your back deck. With private boardwalk access and the shoreline only steps away, mornings begin with the sound of the waves and evenings end with salt air and sunset skies.

Every space in this home has been thoughtfully upgraded to create a fresh, elevated coastal experience. Updates include new flooring, furnishings, upgraded beds and bedding, new windows, a new HVAC system, updated lighting, refreshed showers and fixtures, and a renovated kitchen. The home feels bright, clean, and welcoming — designed for comfort without losing its relaxed beach charm.

Coastal Kyma comfortably sleeps up to 11 guests and is Ideal for discerning families seeking a refined yet relaxed beach experience. The spacious family room features an oversized sectional perfect for gathering, along with a large-screen TV for movie nights. Smart TVs are located in every bedroom, and puzzles and family games are available for easy, screen-free fun.

The renovated kitchen is modern and functional, equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, cookware, and both a drip coffee maker and Keurig — perfect for relaxed meals before or after the beach. Safety features such as smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher ensure peace of mind.

Outdoor living is effortless here. Enjoy coffee on the oceanfront porch, rinse off in the new hot-and-cold outdoor shower, and grill dinner while listening to the surf. The garage has been transformed into a recreation space featuring:

Good and bad

Trash cans were full this no place to put trash. WiFi stopped working 10 times a day. 5 th day figured out closet electronics lost electrical and had to buy two electric cords to get it to work so the kids had WiFi and we could watch TV. Downstairs shower had junk in it. Lack of pillow cases. Heat downstairs hard to contro, kids slept cold. No mast bathroom and bathrooms were so small and hard to control water, plumbing 50 years old. Couple draws in kitchen hard to open.

Great house and location for a big group but some issues

Location was amazing and roomy for 8 adults. Property managers were easily accessible, including fixing a broken showerhead. 2 major issues: 1) Cleanliness: a) the trash can had not been emptied so it was overflowing by the end of our stay; b) the previous guests- I presume- left trash at the end of the walkway upon entering the beach and it was covered in fireants. There was an old towel left downstairs on one of the chairs. It looked like no one checked the outside of the property when cleaning; c) there was mold in the dishwasher and the DW tablets were yellowing & crusty- seemed like they had been there for months/ years. We had to buy our own detergent and run the sanitize cycle on the dishwasher to get rid of the mold. Not what I expect from a property charging $850+ per night. 2) Lack of basic amenities: a) the property provided two (2!) rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. When I called to ask where additional TP was being stored, I was told that they only provided 1-2 rolls per bathroom. For a house this size,(capacity to sleep 10 people) and cost/night, toilet paper is a basic amenity that we shouldn't have to purchase separately. We were out of toilet paper less than 24 hours after arriving.; b) this wasn't as big of an issue but oceanfront homes typically provide beach towels- it would have been nice if those had been provided so we didn't have to instacart our own. Overall, a great weekend with friends and great house but definitely some areas for improvement.
