This hotel did not have an elevator. I don't remember ever staying at a hotel that does not have an elevator. Our room was on the second floor. We had a lot of luggage and dresses/ suits that needed to be carried up (and down) steps in order to get to our room on the second floor. An elevator would have been helpful.
My mother was planning on attending the wedding and had to cancel at the last minute due to an upcoming procedure. Had she stayed at the hotel with us like we planned, she would not have been able to climb the steps to access our room on the second floor as she is dependent on a walker.
I think it would be helpful if this hotel edits their website to add information indicating in bold letters that there is no elevator so that people know this before booking a room.
Up until now, I have not ever looked at a hotel's website or called a hotel to inquire about whether or not the hotel has an elevator. Due to this experience, I will now be asking / checking in the future for each time before making a reservation.
The continental breakfast was very good. We liked the location. The staff was very friendly.
