“I can’t recommend this place enough. I have never before receive the care and kindness as I did when I stayed at Amron Resort. The family owned accommodation treated me as if I myself was family - making me a delicious breakfast every morning regardless of how early I was getting up for trips. Also very helpful in arranging activities such as going on an elephant safari. If you’re reading this, please go for this. It really showed me how beautiful the Sri Lankan people are.”

Sigiriya is a beautiful little town and Lion Rock is a must do. Get up early to beat the crowds and heat. It opens at 7am. We hired a scooter but Charu the father will drive you if needed. “We really suggest this beautiful guesthouse. We spent a great time, the two owners are welcoming, professional, kind and also very good cooks (they cooked something different and typical everyday)!. There are 4 rooms, so the place is familiar and not crowdy. Room was clean and quite big for the standard, 2 fans, Wifi. Very nice garden to chill. It's close to the Sigiriya Rock and the owners can organize Safari to Minnerya/Kawdulla national parks.”

“Love the service, location and the competitive pricing. There are cheaper ones out there for sure but the service here is excellent. Though you may not need the mosquito net provided, I used it and felt comfortable. There’s no AC but I didn’t need it as the temp was cool at night. I would book it again for sure.”

Our hosts were very helpful, arranging transportation to the World Heritage Sites and a local dance presentation. Hosts will prepare breakfasts and dinners. The dinners we ate there were excellent. Best food in the area. ”
