“Quaint, great price and location”

“A beautiful boutique hotel in Eugene. This hotel was highly recommended by my sister and brother in law, Sandra and Ron who live on the Oregon Coast, but travel to the Eugene area on occasion and always stay at this great resting place. “The Bartender was overwhelmed and closed the bar early . She was rude and yelling at customers that didn't understand why she was closing the bar.”

“We were right next to the exterior doors and there was some night/am noise, but even that didn't dim a great stay. The restaurant was great, loved the pool, great rental bikes, nice balcony, very comfy beds, clean bathrooms, spacious. I'm not sure if everything was new or just felt like it. We slept well.”

“We loved the layout of the one bedroom unit. Having a separate bedroom and living room was very nice. The bedroom is big with a large closet and the king bed was extremely comfortable. One note is that there is not much lighting in the bedroom unless the window shades are open. It was very convenient having the breakfast included. Another plus was having four EV charging stations available.”

“Home2Suites by Hilton in downtown Eugene, Oregon is a high-priced, worn-down, dingy, bedbug-infested flophouse in need of major renovations. The linens are dingy and the housekeeping staff is derelict in its cleaning duties. The breakfast is tasteless and the meats are undercooked. I give it a 2-star rating because of the nice fitness center and free laundry.”

“Great location and I appreciated being given a ground floor room on the end near the dog lawn as I had my small dog with me. Little shop for supplies was helpful, breakfast was ok but they need to get plug-in hot water heaters as the water was always lukewarm for tea. Staff were helpful and cheerful. I would stay again as it was an overall pleasant experience.”

“Check-in was confusing because there are no on-site staff. Clean room, a/c kept the room comfortable. Right next to busy road, so it could be loud at times, but a noise machine/fan was provided which helped a little. Not many amenities provided. There is a Japanese style vending machine store in the same parking lot if you want a quick drink or snack. More expensive than it’s worth imo.”

“The staff were friendly and helpful, and our bed was surprisingly comfortable. Those are the only positive things I have to say. We cut our trip short by a day, because of how awful our room was. We rented a room with a "kitchen suite", i.e. stovetop, full fridge, microwave, etc. There were pots and pans, but there was almost no silverware. We had two butter knives and one fork for two people. When my husband asked the front desk, he was given two plastic spoons. We had no dish soap, nothing for...
